With me it's largely a matter of not knowing what to do, character/storywise, and so being too nervous to jump in. This may have already been cleared up already, and I just missed it - I've been MIA from the boards for a bit - but it sure seems like there's kind of a turtle theme going on.

Also, re: the Alaska bit. A) COME TO ALASKA, BREE AND DANIEL! I will hide you.

And B),from wikipedia about Adak (the ...

I just took a peek, because I've been sort of out of LGetc commission for several days. Now I can't seem to get to the class notebook to find out what happened. What happened?

Assignment 4

Lordy this is a lot of reading! I'm slogging through, and glad, because it's interesting, but oy!

(Off topic, but: Taiya and TL, did you get my email from yesterday? It said it had been trying for 12 hours and not to resend, so I wasn't sure.)

A real person would be very unlikely to have the first entry of their blog, started at an awfully convenient time, be composed of paragraphs with the letters of "CODES INTO SERAPIS" as the first letter, in order. I can't even fathom what the odds of a meaningful, connected phrase appearing in that ...

I'm headed to bed soon, hopefully, so I won't go poking around for information on the other towns, but I was interested to hear that Wickenberg was a ghost town for a while, because Adak used to be a city of about 6000, but when the Navy pulled out, the population shrunk dramatically. About 30 ...
