in Wikipedia there is a reference to the spelling Pastirma...and it mentions bastirma as the spelling in Azeri. Maybe that is the language she is learning instead of Enochian.

Also, "bastirma" means supression in Turkish. Don't know if it's relevant, but it makes a lot more sense than pastrami.
