I check the boards most days to see if there's been any actual progress, but I blow at anagrams, so I'm not interested in fiddling with them. So I've basically lost interest.

I don't know if this is helpful but I noticed the word dissipate can be made, which rhymes with fate, and could make sense if Cassie's a ghost.

yeah you can't make both Cassie and RIP, or Cassie and Does Not, so I think we can assume it's not related.

The original time she posted codes into serapis it with was an anagram that had the line "but cassie does not rest in peace" - I think we can bet we got that right, and now she posts it every time to remind us it's an anagram.

It's interesting that that line is the same as codes into serapis though ...

I think we're onto something, but there has to be something more. Just saying a garden where someone drank wine this one time isn't helpful and doesn't tell us where to go - if it's actually a drop there has to be something identifying.

Agreed, we should only do such interpretation as might help illuminate whether or not the anagram is correct (ie if it can't make any sense that should be taken into account).
