I don't think that the recognition (if that's what Jonas was expressing by asking about her dad in that vid) has to do with Bree's dad being his dad.

Jonas's parents disappeared 6 years ago. Bree's lived a sheltered life with her parents homeschooling her and keeping her on a pretty short leash ...
