The footprints go to the road. The road isn't completely covered with snow. If you thought you might be followed, you could try not to leave footprints and walk on the drier part of the road. It doesn't necessarily mean he was picked up. At this point, anything is possible.

Is he Brother? He seems a bit ditzy at times. He said TKO was a boxing reference, but maybe he's just vain, being a Total Knock Out (although way young for me, bummer.) Secretly, I always associated TKO with Tachyon. TeekayOh (n) lol.

A few things I'd like to comment on

If Lucy was saying something to Daniel, we have to remember that he was brainwashed. I don't think they unbrainwashed him to set him free. At least that seems illogical to me.

Hmmm, I think I heard Petaluma mentioned at some point. Maybe in one of the bowling recaps. I've been to California and passed briefly through Petaluma and the name has always stuck with me.
