Something just sorta occured to me, the calls that he made on the way to the cabin, maybe he did it to alert the order to their position.
Any one else thought this?

...New user here, Maybe he's just sleeping in the car? Did they check the car out? I mean, if i was just tied up but stuck in the middle of no where surrounded by nothing but snow, i'd look for the safest place... A locked car to sleep in.
