It's just that I still don't understand why the killer couldn't have edited it; couldn't the night footage have come from anywhere and simply been edited in amongst the actual Maddy/Adam video for some ...

OOG: either they are alive or its an honest mistake like the leg twitch just before Maddy gets wrapped up (I'd twitch too if a cat was licking my foot)

and it wasn't edited by the killer because during both day segments the conversation matches the scenery ("10 miles left") so if the dialogue was ripped from the video they took it must have been a one day trip. if that were the case why would there be nighttime footage? it has to have been edited ...

Not sure if anyone else has noticed/mentioned this yet. but during the talk about "why pigeons" there is a cut from night to day with uninterrupted dialogue. Their conversation is a voiceover post-edit. dead people don't usually edit videos
