Tips for Downloading/Saving LG15 Videos
Are the lonelygirl videos available for download anywhere? It'd be kind of cool to have this on my ipod for when I have to sit in waiting rooms and stuff.

On the lonelygirl.com site, if you go to View > Source and then Edit > Find and type in "http://media.revver.com/broadcast/" without quotation marks, you should find an address that looks something like:
http://media.revver.com/broadcast/67399/video.mov/23941
Going to that address will show you the video, in this case, it's the Daniel video from the other day.
If you go to File > Save As, you should be able to save it to your computer.

I like using the Revver RSS. If you stick this into your RSS feed reader
http://api.revver.com/rss/0.1/user/lonelygirl15
They send you the absolute direct .mov download that you can right click save. For instance, here is what showed up for Daniel's "Who is This?" when I use Revver RSS
http://media.revver.com/broadcast/69160/video.mov
I use the RSS feed reader built into Opera browser. I think Firefox has a plugin for it, too. You will enjoy using RSS for these since you can set it to check at timed intervals. I set mine to check for new LG15 videos every 5 minutes and get a small postage stamp sized alert every time a new video is put up, and I don't have to keep checking the site.

You can download the vid's direct from this site as well.
Just click the video you want and then at the bottom of the viewing window is a link that states "Grab this video and share with your friends! "
Click the link. Then on the next page it takes you to at the bootom there is a "Download Entire Video link" Click this and then select save.
Once saved you can rename the file to the episode name and number.

video url's?
Does anyone have a list of the 41 (?) video URL's?
It would be great to just "wget" them all without going to all those html pages and download one at a time.

Re: video url's?
Hi Fred, that's exactly why I posted the Revver RSS feeds URL. The direct download links come right to you without having to visit a web page. The first time you stick the Revver RSS feed URL into your RSS feed reader, ever single direct download link Revver has of LG15 will show up. After that, a new one will show up whenever a new one is on Revver.justfred20 wrote:Does anyone have a list of the 41 (?) video URL's?

If you don't have an RSS feed reader built into your browser, or a plugin for your browser is not available, there are separate RSS feed programs you can download and install.

You can also go through the following process to save video off of UTube.
Here is a video that shows you how- Step x Step.

Hi Truth, I also posted keepvid someplace else here, too. I just wanted to say if you have a really good codec package installed, you can play flv's right in WMP. I personally have K-lite 'full' installed, but there are others that have what ya need for playing flvs.Truth-in-Science wrote:You can also go through the following process to save video off of UTube.

Also, winavi is another program that will convert the flv's to almost any video format you like.
are these videos copy protected or are they repostable without using embeded link to revver/youtube?
