106 Bree's Gone [12/26/06]

Yeah we haven't seen P. Monkey or the other stuffed animals in a while but we probably won't see much of em anymore. Since the story is getting more dramatic and more mature i doubt we get anymore than maybe a mention or so about them in a vid.

Walking out without telling anyone certainly isn't bree... at least the bed-jumping, p. monkey cuddling, bubbly/psychotic/bipolar Bree.

Two theories with that statement. 1. The more mature, serious Bree we've seen since she got to Jonas' would do this, or 2. Bree does indeed = Cassie and it was Cassie who really left.

Another theory is that she was indeed taken against her will. Just because there's nothing broken does NOT mean that someone from the Order wasn't there. Think about it. Have we seen the Order really use force yet? Have we seen them breaking and smashing things? No, no. The Order is slick. They slip in when nobody's watching and coyly take you by surprise. They watch. They wait. They make their move. I mean, who's to say that they didn't sneak in somehow and take her quietly? Who's to say she wasn't outside after the boys had gone to bed, sitting there thinking like she is so apt to do? Maybe the Order made off with her quietly and took the car and money and such to make it look like "screw you, boys, I'm outta here."

Why would Bree go quietly? Maybe she was taken by force and couldn't make a sound. Or maybe they used her parents as some kind of hostage. You know, you come with us or your parents won't make it out of this alive. Seriously, for all of the "my parents suck" at the beginning, it's so obvious she loves her mother and father.

Why isn't Daniel too worried? He came in the room and asked "where's Bree?" He had just found out. They weren't done looking, and he didn't seem quite awake enough to really freak out. For all he knew, Bree was just out wandering Jonas' extensive property. Who knows?

And leave Jonas alone. Poor guy. He just has a fear of rejection... there's nothing wrong with that. *hugs Jonas*

I think Bree met her dad as the clues suggest, remember she's a smart girl. I think she stole the money for gas, it is getting expensive after all, but her father's well-off, so Jonas will be reimbursed and regain his faith in people!

I think the reason why Jonas didn't seem as angry as he should have been is the simply fact that he has low expectations for people. He went on this big tangent about his issues and stuff and I think, because of his abandonment issues, he doesn't expect much of people. So, he gives this girl a chance, not really expecting her to be perfect and when she goes and takes advantage of his kindness, hes like "you know what, thats what I get for being so nice", I mean, didn't he sort of say that before he was interrupted by Daniel?
As for Daniel, I think hes decided to be more reasonable about it. What comes from freaking out? Nothing. If anything, him freaking out would just make him miss clues that she may have left(we know she did, but he doesn't know for sure). I think he decided to be calm, instead of freaking out so that he could find clues and also help keep Jonas calm. If Daniel started freaking out, I think that Jonas would too.

I don't think that Jonas has low expectations, his problem is that his expectations are too high, maybe not with Bree though. I think that the reason he was cool, was one, he had time enough to cool down, and two he blamed himself more than anything.
Alright now I think that Daniel's being quite smart here, but he'd be a lot smarter if he read our clues, don't you?

Hmmm... Since Bree's dad does not watch her videos. Isn't it possible that she figured out some other way to send a message to her dad? The CUSOON message could be for Daniel and Jonas or us for that matter. This could explain why she left earlier than we would expect her too.

He may not actually know. He may have recorded that thinking if she listens to this then she is more than likely ok. And, if he got a message back, then she was definitely doing well. Also, do we even know how long ago that voicemail was recorded?

Bree phone home. I don't know all the details, but if you go into the Bree Phone Home post, it tells how to get that voice mail. The numbers that the dry cleaner has in its voicemail need to be reversed. You call that number and get Bree's dad.

is the girl in Tachyon's videos supposed to be Tachyon though? 'Cause if she is than she looks way too young to be Bree's mother. Ah well if that theory falls apart... because I grew partial too it.

Anywho...it seems our difference in opinion stems from our differing views on Bree's dad...and since neither one of us can be sure as to his motives, authenticity, or history, I say we simply shake hands and agree to disagree!

I acknowledge the possiblility that Bree's dad has not in fact seen Bree's videos, but it is simply my opinion that he has, given his decision to leave her a message the way he did.

I also disagree with your point here, as if she was in fact trying to communicate with Daniel, she would have not known that he was coming, we know this simply because Jonas and Daniel both confirm that Daniel's coming was unknown to Bree prior to his entrance on Christmas morning. As for a communication with Jonas, since she is living with him, this is highly doubtful as well, seeing as it is fairly obvious that she would see him soon, since, well, they are living together.

Now, finally, about her communicating with us, that just doesn't make sense to me; she will not be seeing any of us soon (well, to my knowledge, at least) so she would not have been communicating with us.

Having said that, I would like to acknowledge that you are right she may not be communicating with her dad, as I had assumed. She could very well be communicating with Tachyon (who, as Kimi-chan theorised, is her mother), Cassie, or even *gasp* OpAphid. At this point, we really do not know.

What we do know however, is that she is gone, and that she took Jonas' car. Anything further is speculation.
