It's correct that the time machine used Plutonium and not Uranium, but it also used lightning as well as Hydrogen from garbage, so Uranium isn't an impossibility.

That doesn't always work because you are then blocking all images from that domain. And this guy is hotlinking to all kinds of different domains...it's actually best that he choose an approrpiate avatar (or nonoe at all) and be done with it.
The first two he had were really...really inappropriate.
Actually the first half dozen or so were "border line" inappropriate. None of them showed anything that could not be seen an a Victoria Secret Cataloge. I think you are just a little sensative Bethy...but it is ok, I forgive you!

Do you all think there's something significant in the Back to the Future reference? If so, what do you think it is? I just picked it up as character development and showing us he's a little geeky.

That's exactly what I said... Plutonium, Garbage, and the last back to the future they propelled it with steam from a locomotive. Trust me I know my Back to the Future, I have the DVD boxed set.

I doubt it, they didn't even get the reference correct.

I think we are on a bit of a time delay, actually. Jonas said that Daniel had stayed up until 6am trying to figure out the code. That hinted to me that he'd been up all night...but not for two days straight. "Bree's Gone" was posted Tuesday at 2:25 pm...so if Daniel figured it out at 6am on Wednesday morning, that's pretty reasonable. Albeit it odd...since he didn't think to check his messages, where I'm sure the answer would have been waiting for him...but that's beside the point.
It could be that they've been on the road since Wednesday morning and managed to find a hotspot today. Remember, Daniel's laptop has wi-fi...so they don't necesarrily need an internet cafe to upload the video. But, if Daniel's relying on "free" hotspots (as in 'Warwalking") then it makes sense, especially if they're still on the road.
Although...where they're going that requires several days worth of travel is pretty odd. Especially since I'm 99% sure this roadtrip vid was filmed in the Valley.

I think pretty much the whole series is flimed in the Valley. Or at least its surroundings.

Whoa, weird weather we're having, eh?
Also: I doubt there's an actual REAL significance (or symbolism) to Jonas' Back To The Future reference other than to stick with his character's lingo and allude Tachyon (oops... I'm crossing over again....) .

Good question. Alone it might not be significant, but add it to the disappearance of his parents in the Hawaiian equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle and it might be. Does Jonas not seem a little alien to you guys? The trouble is you start talking about the Illuminati as someone in another thread likes to do and you can justify just about anything.
Then again, we may be reading too much into it. It's probably nothing more than a cute expression one would expect from n00bie writers. I guess we'll just have to stay tuned.
Are we going to see the whole cast in the same place at once? Daniel, Jonas, Bree, Gemma, Brother, and Tachyon video taping the whole thing via the hotels security cameras
I just had this weird image of one of those hotel corridor scenes where people keep going in and out of doors looking for particular people, like in Tom and Jerry cartoons or Pink Panther movies. I'm pretty sure we won't get that, but it's a funny image.
