I am not sure, but it my opinion that her "CUSOON" message was actually not intended for her father, there is a lot of evidence that suggests he does not watch her videos, but rather I think she was sending a message to Daniel and Jonas. Now, I admit, I could be wrong but that is what I think!mildlyunwell wrote:lonelyelendi wrote:What an excellent adventure that was!NikkiBowerReport wrote:Jonas: Road trip!
That was an "excellent" video. They're the 21st century Bill & Ted.
By the by, Bree's dad's message says to send him a "secret message" and then to meet him "one week after that" at the location he specifies.
Bree's "CU SOON" message was sent on 12/23, so one week after that would be 12/30, which is this coming Saturday.
Hmmm...

My point was simply that I think the plot happens in real time.Lord Balto wrote:Do we really know when anything was filmed? In "real" movies they often film the last scene first and the first scene last. No telling. I am assuming time lapse is real time, had they wanted them to leave right after, then they would have filmed both at the same time!
Whether they're trying to communicate something by the little subtleties, I don't know. Certainly the plot specific stuff is intentional, but stuff like when things were filmed? I really doubt it.
What really annoys me is the number of internet cafes that just keep popping up, or am I just not living where the action is? I doubt if I could even find one here in Baltimore. Maybe downtown.

They're gonna take the new bridge from LA to Hawaii via the Bermuda Triangle.androo54 wrote:they seem to know where they are going. and daniel said he found it as a hint in the past videos----so where ARE they going?!?!
No, I just listened to it again and the location comes from the voice mail, so unless somebody knows what that number is, we're not supposed to be able to figure it out, and neither is the Order, presumably.
It *is* interesting how Jonas keeps calling Daniel "The Beast," which has to be a direct Crowley reference. And now that I think about it, Jonas/Jonah has a certain mythological connection with people disappearing at sea. Wheels within wheels, Bendreth.

Sexual refrence, obviously...

I was implying that she was telling Daniel and Jonas not to worry about her and that should would be back soon.

Now THAT'S trivia! I don't recall anyone ever actually calling him that. It's also interesting because it fits in with the Hawaiian Triangle angle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vile_vortices. Who writes this stuff? How else to explain how they landed on an uncharted island?Ganesha wrote:Well, the Skipper from Gilligan's Island was also named Jonas...

It's been pointed out as significant because it's a movie that was used in one of Tach's recent puzzles. This is (I think ) around the third time that Jonas has referenced said puzzles. There's more discussion earlier in this thread and in the OpA section.Lord Balto wrote:Good question. Alone it might not be significant, but add it to the disappearance of his parents in the Hawaiian equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle and it might be. Does Jonas not seem a little alien to you guys? The trouble is you start talking about the Illuminati as someone in another thread likes to do and you can justify just about anything.parakeet100 wrote:Do you all think there's something significant in the Back to the Future reference? If so, what do you think it is? I just picked it up as character development and showing us he's a little geeky.
Then again, we may be reading too much into it. It's probably nothing more than a cute expression one would expect from n00bie writers. I guess we'll just have to stay tuned.

I think you're probably not looking for wi-fi places, or you'd probably be aware of quite a few. I live in a small town and can think of at least five places nearby with wi-fi. Plus, you can "war-walk" even more efficiently in a car. Not to go totally off on a tangent, but my husband and I were without internet for a couple of days due to a phone company problem, and we just drove around town until we found a good spot to download our email and watch the latest LG15 video. Well, I did the last part. If you know what you're doing, it's easy.Lord Balto wrote:Do we really know when anything was filmed? You're right. As I said earlier, I wasn't thinking in terms of wi-fi. And I actually read Slashdot.arammat wrote: I think you're probably not looking for wi-fi places, or you'd probably be aware of quite a few.
