I agree, I believe the gunshot was from Brother's video. It's the same parking garage. The sound of the shot startled everyone.

Bree's father went back to the two unknown figures for Bree's safety.

i think Lorien makes some great points here...i wouldn't be surprised if no one was shot to it only seemed as though someone were shot...

I'm not positive this is a secure assumption. Remember that it is made in the absence of data - we can presume he was trying to secure Bree, but we have nothing but our impressions to suggest this.

Even though is this fiction, folks...I want to put a couple things into perspective. First, the hotel where Gemma was reportedly staying...the one in Tachyon's video she left for Brother, is the LAX Hilton. It is about 1/4 mile from LAX.

The last half of today's video with Bree et al, was filmed at the Westfield Fashion Center in Sherman Oaks.

These two locations are not very proximate...AT ALL. In fact, they are about 20 miles apart, technically. In Los Angeles, 20 miles is pretty much another planet. Despite what the map says, the drive between the two locales is NOT done on city streets, nor does it take 30 mins. Well, it can, if by some miracle all the planets are aligned just so and the 405 is wide open (hahahahahahaha).

But, for those interested, here is a map of the two general locations:

Now, this is LA...everything is a movie set here, but it's hard to tell which is which where the creators are concerned as to if they're referings fictional locales or not. They use a lot of highly visible landmarks in their videos, so it's all quite odd.

when the gunshot sounded, bree yelled "stop!" and then "no!" and you see her fall. I think she was trying to get out of daniel's grasp to get to her father, but she couldn't so she fell. I think the order fired a warning shot to scare bree's father into going with them, but bree thinks they shot her father.

i also think the one woman on the right taking bree's father is bree's helper, she looked blonde.

i have one question:

before the car stops in front of bree and her dad, you see him looking toward where the car is coming from, then he turns the other way, and and just a millisecond later the car comes. surely he would have seen the car. was he part of this? was he bait to get bree?

i believe the gunshot was to scare bree into coming back, but since jonas and daniel were there, the plan failed.

I certainly think that this is one of the difficult things to gauge in this medium. It's impossible to tell what is deliberate and what is sloppy direction/production/continuity. TV shows like "Buffy", et al., couldn't get away with such sloppiness and they were dealing with almost entirely fictional locations. This medium is incorporating a fictional plot with real locations and interactions, which makes consistency all the more important. However, it's such a new product that who knows if they're aiming for consistency?

In short: *sigh*.

Yes it is confusing, why would they post two videos filmed in parking lots if they didn't intende us to infer that they are the same location, on the other hand why would they use two different locations.

Are we sure that brothers latest video is of the parking garage at the LAX Hilton?

OpAphid and LG15 have two different teams, maybe the script called for a parking lot scene, and they just didn't coordinate on the location. That would be sloppy as lorien said, but who knows.

I don't think we have enough to ID the parking area in Brother's video....we know where the LG one was, but the only thing we have to place Brother's video is the Tachyon shot of the hotel.

It could be that the tachyon video was just a red herring for the most part.

I brought my laptop over to my boyfriends today because he wasnt awake yet and I had a little before making him breakfast (well more like midday lunch, he had a hard night haha).
So I get on my computer working on a few videos for youtube and then all of a sudden I get this urge to check LG15. I see there is a new video, I watch it and yell "HOLY SH*T", boyfriend wakes up and gives me a weird look. I look in the forums and see there is a new Brother video up. I watch it and my hands are on my face astonished. Then I yell "NO!! I want to know what happened with both!"

Evan: Kristen what are you doing?
Kristen: OMG IT IS LIKE CRACK! I WANT MORE! I AM SO FREAKIN ADDICTED!

LG15= crack(or another form of highly addictive drug)

I thought I heard something like a gunshot too and of course you can hear Bree screaming in the background...it may have just been a car door slam though...I don't know...

got my heartrate up though...INTENSE!!!!

Looking through some of the posts here's my opinion

*I did see Jonas hide his face and noticed the Silver SUV but don't know if that's why or they're trying to not look suspicious.

*I don't think Bree was shot...I think she was trying to get back to her father...She hasn't seen him for what? Months now? and she's finally with him and all hell breaks loose...

*One last thing and this is it...since I found it on Myspace and it was listed as from LonelyGirl herself she says this:

"umm I don't know what to say except that the unthinkable happened. Daniel and Jonas caught up with me and well ... watch what happened."

this was in my bulletins as I'm sure everyone else who has Lonelygirl as a friend on Myspace. My point though is that it probably wasn't Bree that got shot...or I don't think she would be writing this.

Those are just my opinions...

oh! the speculation on if Bree just screamed or said no.
IMO I think she screamed no.

It seemed like one of those intense TV shows, like ER, when someone gets shot and someone is watching the gun goes off the person yells/screams "NOOO!" and then you cut to a calm scene in the hopsickle.

What was my point??

Some people asked why Brees dad would run twards the order but how can you be sure that the figure standing alone was brees dad? In some stills I posted, it looks like (when the car first shows up in the first two seconds when bree and dad run) her dad is protecting Bree and faces twards them to kind of slow them down. And about her dad looking to the right. Maybe he just saw the car come around and just continued walking normally but then the car speeded up.[/b]

Actually I just took a look at the video and if you watch the video both Bree and her father look to the side before the car cuts them off.

I'm coming to this later, so someone may have already said this, but it was my impression that by the time they found the car, Bree and Bree's dad were gone. Not knowing which way they went, they were waiting for them to come back.
