we accept pretty much everyone! Though sometimes we're distracted by shiny things and each other, and end up making people feel ignored

Exactly! I'm such a newbie when it comes to OpAphid. I feel like bursting out in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer song (hey, the holidays just passed!): "Why am I such a misfit?...Why won't I fit in?"

Ooh, I do still have that feeling in the Op threads. It's scary over there, lol. I try not to go over there to much. To me (to stay with the school theme) the Op threads are like...the locker rooms that smell kinda funny or the kinda emo kids that threaten to kill you when you pass by.

God, I'm such a n00b when it comes to Op.

i lurked for a LOOOOONG time....just like you noodles, i swore i wouldnt sign up, cuz i knew i would spend all my time here. alas, i could not resist. but i still feel like a noob, to the forums at least

I've been lurking on Op for a while, but that's what I still do... lurk. I rarely find that I have something special to say that hasn't already been said, so I usually just keep it all to myself.

Yeah, we can ween one another off of teh shiny, but then we become attached to each other...one way or another.

I hate being ignored, so if I ever intentionally or unintentionally ostracize anyone, PM me or post a message giving me a good kick in the pants so I realize.

I signed up a day or two after I found LG15...and I have been posting ever since....I have never been one to carefully dip my toe in the water. I just dive right in, head first, hell I was in the plot discussion forums before I really understood the plot! And I was posting too!

Ya, I kinda see us as those slightly ditzy, slightly nerdy, but still funny, and overly sexed kids in the school that is our forums.

awww, poor FP and her distractibility issues.... *is still searching for something shiny to wear* yeah, we get attached to certain people, and tend to lapse into conversations with them exclusively

I know Mirage and I do that WAY too often
