Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Looks right to me, TF!
*gasp* Someone said late in the Bree's Dad thread that he wasn't Bree's real dad! It's true...And she won't talk to her mom. I wonder what her dad said about her mom! I still think her mom is the head of the Order...or someone important.
Nice acting on her part...

Guys, can we please be a good example and not post pages of comments until the video is finished loading?
<--- just trying to be a good little girl. I know everybody's happy about the video, but there do seem to be a lot of complaints about the number of preliminary posts. Not that I'm trying to step on toes, just wanted to put that out there "into the cosmos" as a reminder to maybe contain our excitement for a few minutes.
ETA: nevermind...it's loaded.

So Bree's adopted? I wonder who her real parents are and if this will play a role in the storyline later on.
Great video, though! I feel that Bree really opened up and that she seemed to be talking "to" us rather than "at" us.

You know that moment where you just want to grab a pair of scissors and run away with them?

I want to give credit to Grellen, who may not have been the first to say that Bree's parents weren't her real parents but at least was the most recent and the one that caught my attention:

Edit to add: Bree did learn this in her talk, apparently, but she is mourning that dad, not her real dad per se...it appears her "dad" is still dead.grellen wrote:OK, I read most of these pages but not all, so forgive me if someone posed this theory already, but how about...
The man we know as Bree's dad is not really her dad. Her real dad/parents died long ago and the Order assigned people to raise her in preparation for the ceremony. During her talk with her "dad," Bree learns the truth and thus mourns the loss of her real father some time in the past.
Just an idea...

Boy oh boy.. can I EVER relate with Bree right now.. Except for the whole.. parent dying thing.. but.. I went through the exact same situation when i was about 8 or 9.. one day i wake up to my parents.. or the people who i thought were my parents telling me that they are actually.. my grandparents.. they "adopted" me from my birthmother..
only to find out about a year or so ago, from my birthmother whom i'm very close with now.. that basically.. my "grandmother" (whom i grew up thinking was my mum) was very very sad because she had a hysteroctomy (sp?) when she was 25.. and she couldn't have children anymore.. so they literally.. STOLE me from my birth mother.. they took her papers in the hospital that they told her were release forms (so they could take me home with them while my birth mom recouperated (she was really sick during my birth).. turned out to be temporary custody forms.. and they stole me.. literally stole me..
needless to say, i dont speak with my "grandmother" much anymore either.
people are effing lame.
so basically after that long winded rant.. i feel your pain bree, trust me.
edited to add:: and i know exactly what she means when she says.. "if this is how i'm going to be feeling i'd rather not feel anything at all" (or whatever the exact words are).. the betrayl from being lied to your whole life is overwhelming and extreemly depressing. i've chosen the "i'd rather not feel" path about my situation as well.
