So what's Cassie trying to save Bree from? The sacrifice stuff kinda goes out the window...
Actually, I don't think it does. In saving Bree, she'd be saving herself...

But how does Cassie know what's in store? Not even Bree's parents.
I'm not trying to disprove what you're saying, cos I think it's a plausible theory- I'm just trying to understand.
"Have you ever transcended space and time?"
"Yes. No. Uh, time not space. No. I don't know what you're talking about."
I'm still not certain that the sacrifice necessarily means a human or physical death. Daily sacrifices in christianity are not. Think outside the box. This is a poem...not everything in a poem is literal...but a metaphor.

I'm not firmly in that camp myself, only seeing it as one possible answer. But if Bree knows what is in store (maybe she's a willing participant?) then it would stand to reason that Cassie would too.
Hmmm....I'm still poking around in Daniel. I'm at the daily sacrifices...being incense on the altar, right now. I'm still thinking this sacrifice or death is not the literal death.

I'm thinking back to the Learning to Drive video when Daniel was having a go at Bree for not knowing exactly whats gonna happen. Am I right? My connection is too slow to go and watch the vid again, ughghgh.
*Sigh*, I guess we'll just have to do what Cassie says and .-- .- .. -
