Would have been great... I use to watch Buffy all the time.

In the "Unthinkable" vid--Jonas: "Are you sure that's her dad?"
I thought that was reasonable enough to say in a heightened situation where they were fearing for Bree's safety, but Jonas also has an uncanny ability to drop phrases (and the occasional video clip) that have further significance.
So did Jonas a) recognize Bree's dad, b) expect Bree's dad to look different than the man he was seeing, c) know more about Bree's past than she did, or d) just say something eerily coincedental?

However, I'm willing to bet that we find out that Jonas has some very interesting links, and that there are pretty specific reasons why he has information that the rest of us don't seem to have. I'm very curious.
ah, you're probably right! i had a feeling it was a bit far-fetched. :pJoyleaf wrote:I don't think that the recognition (if that's what Jonas was expressing by asking about her dad in that vid) has to do with Bree's dad being his dad.
Jonas's parents disappeared 6 years ago. Bree's lived a sheltered life with her parents homeschooling her and keeping her on a pretty short leash, it would seem. Additionally, her family's been moving all around the world in the course of her short life.
I just can't imagine that Bree's dad found time in the middle of all of that to raise another kid elsewhere, who seems to have been living in California for some time. Also, if all those trophies in Jonas's house are his dad's, then his dad was pretty kicked-back into life wherever they were living.
I think that whatever Jonas saw when he saw Bree's father, it wasn't his own father.
I do, however, think he might have recognized Bree's dad, or was not expecting to see the man he saw. (See previous posts below.)

Remember when Daniel and Jonas were following Bree and her 'dad'?
Jonas kept asking Daniel if he were sure that was her dad, as if he could not believe it.
What if Jonas recognized Bree's 'dad', and that is why he reacted with disbelief.
What if Bree's 'dad' is in fact Jonas' father?

But anyways, I don't think Jonas recognized her 'dad'...i think that he just didn't know him..and maybe he thought her 'dad' didn't look like the 'dad' type. If it was his dad, i'm pretty sure he would have said DUDE THATS MY DAD...i'm sure jonas has photos of his parents around his house, too. Bree would definately recognize her dad as his dad. Perhaps you are on the right trail though, that Bree and Jonas share the same parents.
She wouldn't look like her "siblings" OR her parents!! Is that why we never see them in the videos?? We've never seen "dad's" face or any part of mom.bethy wrote:Bree's mother is pregnant! She delivers and they raise Bree as their own...even though genetically, she isn't related to them one bit. Bree's mother knows, but her father doesn't. They never have any more children, because it might become apparent that Bree doesn't quite look like the other kids.
