I was the original poster mentioning the ten year gap, as part of my skepticicsm about the sibling situation--exactly because of this. My mom loved me and my siblings ferociously from the moment each of us were born, and if anyone had taken any of us, she would have hunted them down from square one. Just as you say.
From square one. If a parent was fighting from the very first day, it would surely not take the Order ten years to deal with that. Surely a parent that was persistant in investigation would be offed before they were allowed to even think about the Order.
I mean, by the time they put the evidence together to even point at who took their kids, they've seen and done too much. I get the feeling the Order is more into preventative measures than relative freedom. I think those parents who made a peep about their missing kids would be dealt with pretty harshly, and fast.
Ten years seems like a lot of slop for a secret organization.
But about Jonas...
On the flip side, we know nothing of Jonas's background. And he says certain things that indicate he knows a lot more than he lets on. I think he was cued into finding Bree by something other than her popularity on YouTube.
--He mentions in his first video he's not good with structure. This reminded me a good bit of Tachyon's messages that kept reiterating "having too much order" in her life.
--The way his pop culture references line up with those in Tachyon messages and puzzles.
--He questioned Daniel about Bree's dad, which is pretty strange--I mean, if he watched all of Bree and Daniel's saga, surely he would trust Daniel to recognize a man he had repeatedly gotten into verbal tiffs with.
I think he either recognized Bree's dad as someone else, or he knows Bree's dad to be someone else. Either that or it's a weirdo coincedence.
--I think it's significant to think about what also might have made Jonas confident that he could give Bree and Daniel a happy home when they were on the run. They were being followed, bugged, rooms ransacked, etc.; unless he has a magic disappearing house in the clouds, I think our options are that his home was a) a trap to walk into, or b) a safe haven for reasons we don't understand, like maybe because he's special.
Maybe the sibling thing pans out, or maybe its a red herring.

Why did they just disappear 10 years later? Because they knew their child was out their, they never gave up looking.
If that was true they either intentionaly gave up Bree or that just doesn't make sense. I'm saying like, How could the mother not know she gave birth to 2 kids. The only way it could be possible if Jonas and Bree were related would be if Jonas was also adopted.
What?! I am completely lost by what you just said!! Why would they have given her up intentionally? Of course she knew she gave birth to two kids? Kids never get kidnapped? Or kids with siblings don't get kidnapped? Is the order really above kidnapping? As to why they could not use Jonas... maybe the ceremony requires a female.
Well I thought you were saying like they looked for her after some years. You saying maybe they've been looking for her?
Yes, I meant that as they never gave up. I know for a fact if my daughter was ever stolen from me... I would search until I found her whether it took 1 year, 5 years or 20 years. I would never give up until she was found.
