Re: Bree The Cookie Monster
The magazine is Rolling Stone. Maybe if someone has this issue they can tell us if there's anything significant in it.VinWasHere12x31x91 wrote:Is it just me or is that magazine Daniel is reading in the backround (purple text with a face) suspicious looking?....Dunno...y'know?

Hm, I cross referenced Bob Dylan and Aleister Crowley in Wikipedia and this is what I came up with...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_im ... _Club_Band
Now, according to the article this was an album cover made and the only connection is here...
"Sri Yukteswar Giri (guru)
Aleister Crowley
Mae West (actress)
Lenny Bruce (comedian)
Karlheinz Stockhausen (composer)
W. C. Fields (comedian/actor)
Carl Gustav Jung (psychologist)
Edgar Allan Poe (writer)
Fred Astaire (actor/dancer)
Richard Merkin (artist)
The Vargas Girl (by artist Alberto Vargas)
Leo Gorcey (actor) (removed)
Huntz Hall (actor)
Simon Rodia (designer and builder of the Watts Towers)
Bob Dylan (singer/songwriter)
They were placed by ("...Jann Haworth and Peter Blake. They won the Grammy Award for Best Album Cover, Graphic Arts in 1968 for their work on this cover.") Now, the fact that Dylan and Crowley are featured on the same row could merely be a coincidence but I thought i would just bring it up.

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one...curriguy wrote:she isn't necessarily praying?c_anderson wrote:At about 40 seconds into the video, when Daniel leaves the room, Bree prays over the cookie dough. I didn't catch that before.
it looks like she's just trying to assess what damage the flour has done to her clothes

I just saw a post where someone said they'd found that members of some order (I think the Golden Dawn or something?) referred to themselves as Hamsters. I'll see if I can find it again.
Edit: Okay, wasn't members of the OotGD, it was residents of Nottingham.

Hey all,
I never noticed the Bree-praying thing. She does strike that yoga pose a lot (it was WAY important to Crowley, et al) and especially when Daniel leaves the room. Is she just killing time? Or is she sneaking it in when he is not looking.
Does the CAKE OF LIGHT, need blessing? I think it does. Remember that recipe from Scotland that tasted gross?
I know that link has been discussed before, but I just noticed in the frame that the try she is lotus-posing in front of has markings on it. Can anyone see what they are?
Probably nothing.

I read part of that Rolling Stone issue the other day because I was bored, there is an article in there called Daniel Pinchbeck and the New Psychedelic Elite and that article, surprise surprise, references Aleister Crowley.
I think this is very relevant here. Maybe not the sect mentioned here but the place itself. In the Mysteries of my past revealed. She states she lived in Nottinghamshire. Sherwood forest is in the shire of Nottinghamshire.S is for Summer wrote:I just saw a post where someone said they'd found that members of some order (I think the Golden Dawn or something?) referred to themselves as Hamsters. I am pretty sure Sherwood forest has been linked to witchcraft since back in the days of Robin Hood. She also mentions Robin Hood in the Video.
I believe that ther are still religious sects linked to witchcraft that hold ceremonys in Sherwood forest to this day.
Still researching this at the moment but this link makes for some interesting reading
