Warning and sharing

Post by BrokenBliss »

The first one is probably one no one will like, but like I said it's just a suggestion.

1. Could you tell us before hand what time you're going to upload the next video? Lol, I've wasted hours just sitting at the main page and refreshing hoping for a new one for the day when I should be doing my homework. I know some people also like to be the first one to comment (just to be first) and don't want competition waiting for that minute when it's posted, but it's kind of childish and no one wants to hear FIRST!!1 anymore anyway.

2. So it's cool that we can submit videos, but there are other mediums out there as well that fans like. For instance I was doodling the other day and I decided to draw a picture of Daniel and I thought it would be cool if we could submit artwork like that (not in a forum style but rather a gallery). Unless there's already a place like that, I don't know about it yet!
If there's a gallery, I'll definitely contribute like every week! :smt045

That's an interesting idea...a fan art section.

For the first one, you can get e-mail notification of new videos. Might have to do it from Revver instead of the main page, though. I can check into it.

For #2, it's an excellent idea. Maybe when The Creators get their new IT crew in ;)

edit: Actually, if you're logged in on the main page, there's a link right below the video for email notification...

Oh and I do get the notifications by email, but I mean for instance they should tell us today what time tomorrow will it be posted for the next one (or to even expect one).

Haha, that's why I said some won't like my first suggestion because they like the suspense.

Good point...

Plus I guess if they want to keep it realistic like real life blogging, then it should seem like totally random (kind of like the editing  ).

This is probably more the case. Sometimes they let you know something is coming in the story like "the ceremony is tomorrow," the 10-12-06 thing or when Daniel and Jonas were on their road trip.

I think they definitely do more of that if for no other reason it really builds anticipation and buzz.

Since it's been known as fiction for some time, now, I don't see the need for that pretense. I'm sure most could suspend disbelief enough to politely not notice that the videos were on a preset schedule  But I think it's more that they're making things up as they go (at least to a certain extent) so they don't always know ahead of time when they'll have the next video done... (but I could be wrong)
