Okay, did anybody miss the part where he said, "It's not what you think?"
Daniel is too classy to brag about having sex...at least I'm hoping he is. I'm thinking they kissed and cuddled and they fell asleep. It does happen ya know. My guess is that all the clothes stayed on and Daniel is just really happy because he lo-cares about her, and she's finally reciprocating. He doesn't come across as the kind of guy that would take advantage of a girl in that kind of emotional situation...especially if he has been and plans to stick around. He's trying to get her to trust him...do you really think he's dumb enough to have sex with her an risk all of that?

I agree with you, Bethy. I don't think that they did it. But someone needs to tell the boy that you can't do the walk of shame unless you have makeup from last night on your face, you can't find your underwear, your wearing someone elses clothes and everyone else is all chipper and heading to class, pretending they don't notice that you look like absolute hell
It's official!! I'm getting married September 28, 2007!!
Seems to me that everybody is taking the "not what you think" sentence out of context. Here's the context:
"It's not what you think. It's really just been something I think we've both wanted for awhile."
To me, that next sentence completes the thought. As in, Daniel believes this isn't just a 'crazy night.' He didn't want to give the impression that this was a random hook-up, which many people might think.
---
Also, he didn't brag. He simply told us what happened (we think). Just like Bree did with their first kiss.
---
Finally, let me add that Bree might disagree with the implied notion that this was inevitable and will continue. That's not the point. The point is that Daniel is under that impression.
--
One last thing to add. I wouldn't be surprised to see a video from Jonas tonight.

I like this idea. Maybe the video is just to trick Jonas because they want more time alone, and boy it'd be akward to knowingly walk in on two people.. Alone to think and discuss what needs it.Maccaboy17 wrote:then maybe its for Jonas's sake as they are planning to be alone for a while planning things as they might not quite trust him and they didnt want him walking in on them
Take out the knots. I want to floss alone.

IMHO, this isn't real. Lol, and yes, I kow it's not real, but I mean it didn't really happen! Ok, that's still confusing.
Startover
I think either Bree and Daniel planned for Dan to act out a video saying this stuff to make the Order back off because her purity is done and everything.
OR
Bree had a plan and competely used Daniel, knowing that they all turn to the internet to get things off their chest.
Maaaybe that's a bad metaphor to use...
However, I did notice that this came directly after all the conversation on the Hidinf in the Bathroom vid with all the speculation about purity. The Creators are always watching. Maybe they plan to give clues faster if we're getting close?

I really hope that Bree's reaction is not an angry one. I did not think Daniel seemed to be bragging at all. I thought he just seemed genuinely happy that they have finally moved to the next level in their relationship - something they had already started to do when everything went crazy around the time of the ceremony. So much happened that they put their relationshipy feelings on hold. I'm not ruling out that Bree did this for a reason - either to thwart the Order or, more likely, for an emotional reason such as seeking comfort or wanting to be reckless.
Good acting, though. He seemed so sincerely "aw shucks" about the whole thing. As far as whether or not they had sex - when I was a teenager not that long ago, my friends used "hooking up" to mean "getting together in a physical way," usually for the first time. That usually meant just making out.
I did think that the title of the video was a bit tacky. However, I also thought that about "Bree's Dad is Dead." Both are kind of abrupt and tactless, but I assume it has something to do with shock value/getting more people to watch. It does seem out of character for Daniel...although he's not exactly a poet, is he? But his tone is so sweet and heartfelt in the video that I would think he would have been a bit more sensitive when giving the video its title.

Bree kissed Daniel? She wasn't too into it before. Did they have sex after her reaction to the first kiss?
Daniel also does not seem like the type of guy to take advantage of a girl who is in so much emotional pain.
Something is not right at all.
i'll go further and say "no way this happened"
"Lighten up, Francis."
That's the exact reason I found it strange. You can't talk about a kiss that happened months ago, yet you can hint at a lot of things on a video over something that happened a few hours ago?? Nuh uh. Something's up.Luv2Skydive wrote:I thought it was very odd since Daniel wouldn't even tell Jonas on camera how Bree kissed....next thing you know he's announcing "Yeah, I hit dat!"ForeverMourn wrote:This Kiss N Tell vid is a nice change of pace.
WTF?
That's a very good question. I happen to know a lot of very young children do watch this series, the tech savvy ones, and this will be very impressionable stuff o_O Let alone this thread.impulse wrote:

This is an honest question. Is there a single confirmed incident of Bree or Daniel faking something on camera in order to trick the Order?
I can think of an example of Bree tricking Daniel. I can think of an instance of Gemma tricking everybody. But I can't think of a single incident of Bree or Daniel attempting to trick the Order through videos.
In fact, they've always done the opposite, letting them know when they were ditching their car or leaving the hotels. Certainly this does NOT rule out the possibility, but it makes it slightly less likely.
The main reason I think it's unlikely, however, is because I think it's kind of ridiculous when it comes to motive.

I don't think they had sex. I think it was kissing and holding each other kind of deal. As far as the phrase hookup... I'm from California and when I was in high school the term hooking up often referred to just making out. Walk of Shame usually refers to sex, but it also usually means after a night of drunken mistakes too. So...

I agree with EliCash.
I think Daniel means "It's not what you think" as in "I didn't just take advantage of her in a vulnerable state. It was mutual." I think he says this as a way of telling us that it was not innapropriate behavior so that we don't gang up on him and tell him that Bree's too emotionally fragile for the physical stuff right now. (Not that we would.)
