Are we losing interest? (plz read whole thread before reply)

I'm with those who're losing interest, although for perhaps a slightly different reason.
The plot twists lately - the past two or three months - feel to me like they're straight out of Days of Our Lives. It's possibly the delivery - I don't know. I can't really pinpoint what's making them seem so very cheesy to me.
Between that and Bree being a brat, as others have pointed out, it's very hard to maintain interest (especially since the OpAphid side of things is so quiet). My favourite videos lately have been the Foosball ones (and Truth or Dare) - which have largely just been conversational fluff.
I'd say that you need to move things along a little - and cut out the rollercoaster quasi-romance stuff for the moment. We can only take so much at once, and possibly the cliche of Bree's parents not being her real parents and so forth would sit a little better if at the same time Bree wasn't having temper tantrums and randomly snogging boys.

No, I'm not very nice.

I'm afraid that Mesh no longer writes and that Glenn does a lot now. Glenn?? Glenn who? His episodes were ones where they really began drifting from the Bree we knew. In fact, a lot of people complain about the lack of consistency in characters, we never know how one's going to feel from one video to the next. Perhaps it's due to the constantly changing writers?
Mesh made the character, and presumably wrote the early stuff. If not him, then Miles. WHOEVER is responsible for the early amazing stuff should just be the main writer. I'm afraid that the Creators don't realize how amazing their early stuff was and how terribly far they've strayed from it...

I have just caught up on this thread. As usual you all make a lot of excellent points. We are working on all of this. I think you will all enjoy the weeks to come. We are doing a million things at once to keep this thing going and as you might imagine we can't fire on all pistons all the time (especially when we have very little resources).
As a clarification, the production credits in LGPedia are not all updated, the original team is still intact and Mesh/Miles are writing, directing, producing as much as we did in the beginning. Will update the LGPedia as soon as possible. Thanks.

Sparky, it is with a red face from a certain kind of combustion, locomotive grease on my soiled hands and a respect for your faithfulness that I say that I will take your solid advice.Sparky Bennet wrote:it will all be AWESOME

I hope you realize that I suck.::The finest satire is that in which ridicule is combined with so little malice and so much conviction that it even rouses laughter in those who are hit.-Georg Christoph Lichtenberg
And the Ms. Kelly persona comes to the forefront once more.gogo wrote:Sparky, it is with a red face from a certain kind of combustion, locomotive grease on my soiled hands and a respect for your faithfulness that I say that I will take your solid advice.Sparky Bennet wrote:it will all be AWESOME

The speculation above that it was easy to determine which creative forces did the best or "classic" stuff, and which were responsible for everything that's been lackluster.kayokosaeki wrote:i'm confusedcovedweller wrote:Was curious so I started reading through the credits in the LGPedia, after the above almost got my hopes up for some simple explanation to Bree's weirdness and mood swings.
Now I'm not sure how I feel after reading the complete credits the admins posted.
Depending on which recent videos you've found the most lacking, a familiar name (or names) being responsible for them might be more disappointing than what was speculated by khjq and HyeMew...
