As a father of four wonderful children, I understand the reason your father stepped out and took the risk.
A father, whether your natural father or a step father, wishes above all else to be able to protect his children. I would rather everything to happen to me rather than anything to happen to my daughters.
It is a risk that most fathers would take, and he gave his life for yours in a noble and faithful way. Now, please remember that.
There is one thing though...your father died for what you could become. The only debt he would want you to repay is to become something that is true to yourself. Something that is worth dying for.
That is what I want for my children as a father.
