Gosh, I freaking hope so. I'm ready for some more twists. It's starting to get just a tad predictable. The last videos were good.... but I want more!spaciegirl wrote:I also think we're about to meet Cassie...dead or alive.

Just for the fun of it, I did a quick search to see what else "Lucy" could refer to besides Lucifer.
There's Lucy from "I Love Lucy."
There's Lucy van Pelt from the Peanuts (Charlie Brown) comics.
Lucy is a slang term for LSD (example: the Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds").
Saint Lucy is the patron saint of eye conditions (like lazy eye!).
There's Lucy the fossilized remains of an early human (missing link type thing).
And, of course, there is Lucy Westenra, Count Dracula's victim in Bram Stroker's famous novel who becomes a vampire herself.
Just because it seems to me that an obvious connection is not always the true connection. There could be some fun connections to be made with vampires and missing links. And dark-haired girls who never, ever, ever let Charlie Brown kick that football.

Clever Creators. I never heard of LG15 until the "hoax" was revealed. Good way to suck people in.

If the ceremony did turn out that way, it's not going to be the creator's fault. It's all the fans because they're the ones coming up with all these theories and crap and overanalyzing everything. I don't even know where the whole cassieiswatching crap came from just based on one video with a mention of a girl that she used to walk around the track with. It's all based on the fans theorizing about this stuff, but the creators could have an entirely different idea in mind from the start.justapix wrote:Broken Kid wrote:Personally, I think the creators are distancing themselves further from ciw by explaining Cassie, since they've been watching our theorizing all along. They're trying to make Cassie more real and less important (I think). That's why I'm guessing the issue with Cassie is more of a triangle thing. (Bree & Cassie = friends. Daniel & Cassie = relationship. Bree & Daniel = relationship.)Luv2Luvem wrote:Do you think that the fact that Bree's stories don't add up has anything to do with Cassie's Bree Tells Lies tags?
I don't think we should be tied into the whole religion thing w/ Cassie, since it's entirely based on our own theories (and some clues from ciw, which may or may not be canon).
I find this point very interesting, I because if you take the whole Cassie Is Watching aspect away from the LG15 world, it is very weird, that she would all of sudden mention Cassie again.
Because if Cassie has no relevance to the story. Why would she need to be brought back up.
But if you include the fact that we all have been going crazy over at the CiW forum, then it seem that the creators are talking directly to us, and letting CiW fans know that in fact Cassie is a Fanfic ARG, and not part of there world. (Which if true I think is truly amazing and should be commended)
I also believe this because their new revelation about Cassie seems to fly in the face of everything that we have been theorizing about how Cassie ties in with the LG15 world. And the pieces that we where just given do not seem to fit with our view of Cassie
~Justapix
PS to the creators, if this ceremony turns out to innocuous, and all that build up will be for naught, and u will end up alienating a lot of your views

I think this video provides some solid evidence that the ceremony is intended to encompass Bree's death.
When Bree mentions her "counselor", she says that she "knows all about the pressures of the ceremony" and "wants to help." In that situation, the most helpful person would presumably be one who had played Bree's role in the ceremony before. But Bree doesn't mention that Lucy had performed that role, just that she "knows all about the pressures", even though logically Bree would have been most comforted by someone who had done it before and so if Lucy had played that role in the ceremony Bree would obviously have mentioned it.
Since the person Bree's parents and their friends decided would be most helpful hasn't performed that role in the ceremony, it stands to reason that no person who has performed that role is available to help. We know the ceremony is infrequent, but it has occurred before. Furthermore, the idea that Lucy "knows all about" things would indicate that she had been present at such a ceremony, is in the Order of [Denderah?], etc., and Lucy isn't that much older, so anyone who had played Bree's role would certainly still be around - unless that were not possible. Therefore, the person who plays the role Bree is to play is either sacrificed or for some other reason does not survive the ceremony.
Also, notice Bree's tone and expression when she says she isn't scared anymore. She is not making that statement in a relieved manner, like someone who just found out that a hard test they have coming up will be open-book, or someone who isn't going to have to get a root canal after all. She sounds flat and resigned to her fate. The tone of voice is almost like someone with a terminal illness who has come to terms with the fact that they will soon die; she's not scared anymore not because things won't be as bad as she thought, but because she's accepted how bad they will be.
I don't know for sure that Bree is aware she will die (nor have I decided whether I think her parents know) but I think she has to have an inkling that something big will happen - her beliefs may be that the person who dies in this ceremony ascends instantly to the afterlife or to some "next level" of existence. I doubt Daniel is fully aware (he would do more if he were) but he is afraid he'll lose touch with her if she goes through with the ceremony - he just doesn't realize how completely and permanently.
On a side note, I think Bree is plenty mad about Daniel's stalking video - she has the same flat, measured tone of voice, with just a hint of icy anger behind it, that girls have used for millennia to let their boyfriends know how much they're in trouble
On edit: I do not believe that Bree will die in the ceremony, just that if the ceremony were to go as planned, she would die. Something will happen, likely involving Daniel IMO, that either prevents the ceremony, prevents Bree from taking her assigned role in it, or saves Bree from her fate at the last moment.

re the story Bree tells about the farmer with the two oxen.
This passage from the bible may shed some light. 2 Corinthians 6:14: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers."
With that in mind I did some searching and came across a christian blog site discussing reationships and found this
"That's a good question. What you do is you seek a multitude of wise counselors. And by wise, I mean people who are older than you spiritually and who know thier Bibles well and believe it to be true.
The Bible says that you are supposed to be equally yoked. Here is the image -- If you have two oxen yoked to a cart and one is stronger than the other, the weaker ox won't be pulling as hard. What ends up happening is that you go around in circles. The oxen don't pull the cart in a straight line. If they are pulling a plow, your field ends up a mess. The same would hold true if two people were paddling in a canoe. The weaker paddler would be paddling less hard and causing the canoe to veer off course."
Make of it what you will.

I'm not sure I fully agree with your first point but I think you make a VERY good point with this paragraph.Random Internet Guy wrote:Also, notice Bree's tone and expression when she says she isn't scared anymore. What if Daniel doesn't remember Cassie because she doesn't exist? If Bree can't recall what she looks like, just that they walked around the track together and everyone was mean to her, perhaps Cassie is another personality of Bree. When Bree went back into isolation and away from kids being mean to her, "Cassie" stopped coming around...
It's a wild idea, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

It's awesome ^^
It's a doll of Alice (from Alice and Wonderland). If you right click on her avatar and select "properties", you can see the source.
Hehe, fun with anagrams: spaciegirl = Alice's Grip? Alice Sprig? Alice Prigs?

[buzzkill=metaplot discussion] I don't believe that Jessica is leaving the project, so unless the storyline veers into cool weirdness like cloning or long lost twins, I doubt Bree is staring death in the face any time soon.
