If Brother has Daniel's phone, I think he would talk to Bree and Jonas, and not give them such a cryptic message. Brother could tell them that Daniel has been captured (if that's the case) and warn Bree and Jonas that the Order is close by and is perhaps looking for them.Oz wrote: Unless Brother picked up the phone from the alley, and he's telling them that it's no good because Daniel doesn't have it anymore. Maybe he's the white van man?

I suppose so. We don't know that for sure though. Have Brother or Tachyon ever tried to directly contact Bree & Co? Maybe they have a good reason not to.surrealisticpill wrote:If Brother has Daniel's phone, I think he would talk to Bree and Jonas, and not give them such a cryptic message. No practical solution to the riddle (yet), but another theory:
What if it's not a riddle?
I think we all had that "wait a second! That guy is suspicious!!" moment when the camera scrolled by the van-man; now, assuming Daniel was caught by The Order/OpAphid, and said van-man on the phone is part of that opposing party...wouldn't it be possible that the van-man reported back to Order/Aphid that Daniel and Bree had gotten the address as planned and where on the move? And that, when Daniel heard that the two were running right into a trap, he somehow managed to get his phone and typed the quickest thing he could think of to tell them to don't f*cking do it?
"We're going to drive up to a lonely hut in the mountains, where no one can hear us scream or will ever find us!"
"NO GOOD!!!!"
...or maybe it's just a simple caesar-cipher...
...or did somebody try his not-so-secret decoder ring yet?
...or it *is* plain text, but with a secret meaning to our resident possible-order-mole?
...I better stop now. Too many possibilities...

Just seen http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v622/ ... invan2.jpg in the other thread (Credit: Mintgurl), and I noticed how the van-man possibly tries to hide his face...that lead to another unconventional theory:
What if the van-man is Daniel?
Everybody noticed how the three seemed rather careless recently, how Daniel lost his ID, they called state police, and so on...what if this was all an elaborate plan to trick both sides of this conflict into thinking the other side is breaking the informal cease-fire?
Like, trick OpAphid and Tachyon into thinking they are attacking each other, forcing "retaliation" from both sides, letting them kill each other, and just go home with no war left?
The "no good" could be a message from Daniel to Jonas telling him they aren't being followed yet (fits in with a white van being next to them on the highway) - and they didn't let Bree in on it to make her reactions more plausible.

THIS is the theory I like most so far...Renegade wrote: "We're going to drive up to a lonely hut in the mountains, where no one can hear us scream or will ever find us!"

Maybe Daniel could hear the van man outside on the phone telling bowling alley guy to give him the address and texted Bree that it was "No Good" to warn them it was a trap!!!???
I have no clues to offer you... But I know how to download if you're offering!!!

nothing really makes sense with this one. it would be much easier for daniel to type "help" or "run!" or anything less cryptic than No Good. The order, if they're trying to bait J&B, would sound more upbeat, or at least be more specific about what they wanted from J&B. The only possible explaination, if the message is really meant to me "No Good" is one of three things.
1. Daniel was trying to text someone else, and it was just part of a conversation
2. person texting was trying to send a covert message to someone else via bree (danile to Tachy, Tachy to Op, whatever)
3. the creators get off on seeing everyone tear apart the little pieces of meat they dangle in front of fans' faces.
or, i suppose daniel could just be that moronic, that he thought No Good was a remotely clear message to bree. I do like the idea that no good is short for north goodsomething. maybe it will be obvious as they move into the mountains.

I haven't read the 'man in the van' thread yet (getting there, but pesky work keeps getting in the way). But I thought the posture & general gait was Daniel-esque.Renegade wrote:Just seen http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v622/ ... invan2.jpg in the other thread (Credit: Mintgurl), and I noticed how the van-man possibly tries to hide his face...that lead to another unconventional theory:

On another note - that Hamster tag popped up in this vid too. I can dig later, but does anyone remember the significance (if any was found) of that from earlier LG15 vids?

"We cannot resist. Can we Beast?" - Jonas
The video wasn't filmed in LA. It was filmed in Ukiah, which is, by my estimation, at least 600 miles north of LA. And yes, the day I went and got the ID, it was rainingOnewen wrote:I was totally thinking the same thing...itsreallyreal wrote: PS - Anyone remember how long it has been since it rained in LA... Since its closer to the Bay Area, I think they see a fair amount of rain.
And again, while I'm at it, who says that Daniel typed out this text msg? If the Order did get their hands on him, the first thing they would have done is take his cell phone. If Bree text him with a "where are you?" or something, it may have been the only thing that the captors could have thought to text back to her, a vague "no good".
Lad's smurt and he beat me to it.ladron121 wrote:Who said it was Daniel that was sending the msg? All we know for sure is that it came from Daniel's phone...
The text came after they had left the bowling alley.
In other words, maybe someone was watching them and then texted "No Good" as a snide way of saying "Your Princess is in another castle?"
Man, if I had a dime for every time we've used a Super Mario Bros. analogy ...
