[Video] Revelation 1 (10/01/06)
Moderator: Moderators
First post, so be gentle ...
OK, so, having been unable to asleep, I inadvertently became one of the early ones to watch this video. I listened to the audio and reversed it myself before reading anyone else's interpretation of it, so as not to be influenced by what I'm "supposed" to hear.
Aaaaand ... I too hear "Frank is waiting" at one point. I DO think the speculation over male vs. female voices is a bit pointless, since playing with the pitch can make ANY voice's gender unclear.
In any case, I did a quickie google search for "Aleister Crowley" and "Frank", and believe it or not, one of Aleister Crowley's contemporaries, and friends was a man named Frank Harris. Harris was an author, and into wild sex. About one of his books, Crowley was quoted as saying "This book is, in truth, a masterpiece; so intense is the impression that one almost asks, 'Is this a novel or a confession? Did not Frank Harris perhaps throw the bomb?' At least he has thrown one now ... This is the best novel I have ever read." The title of the book was "The Bomb", and it was published in 1908.
In any case ... I find it interesting that Crowley had (apparently) close ties with someone named Frank, and now we get this video. In fact, Crowley lived with Frank Harris at some point.
Anyway ... there's my 2 cents for now.

Edited once more to add this:
According to one of those pages, the citation for Crowley's quote about The Bomb is Crowley's book titled ... The Equinox.
This is probably just coincidental. But it is interesting nonetheless.

I tried anagramming it and couldn't come up with anything that made sense.space girl lost wrote:for what it is worth... when i heard the "frank is waiting" or whatever thing i heard two voices. one female (i think the female we've been hearing) and another... possibly male.
and couldn't "frank is waiting" also be an anagram??
In my Bible, five pages from the end lands you on "The First Beast"
Coincidence? Methinks not.
I'm waiting for dawn to hit in a couple minutes here. But "Can you hear her" I don't think is an anagram, I think it's more of a taunt. I think if we can get that female voice at the end pieced together we'll have something.
Sorry I'm so late on the ball this morning, had a friend over last night

Being a hero doesn't mean you succeed in saving the day. It just means you tried.

Agreed, the last bit of reversed audio is definitely "Come and get it". Even reversed it sounds exactly like it did in the second video.thevictim wrote:sounds like "come and get it" tag to me.bosquelito wrote:Alright I found this real quick blip at the end of the audio (at the very beginning of the reversed). It's been sped up a lot. I think it's female. Working on it now.
Still haven't gotten the part from the beginning (end of the reversed)
try listing at 25% slowed
[04:03] <lyriclyinclined> with the exception of a bad apple pucker incident
bit at the beginning
isn't that "frank released her" reversed ?
Also, her profile picture brings up an interesting point...there is definately a highlighted COLUMN created by the video effects there...can anybody make anything out in it?

Ok..I have headphones now...much better than the laptop..
Plugs first file...DEFINITELY sounds to me like
The Lake is Waiting
Then we think we have another come and get it..
I once again say.. I THINK there is another drop at the swimming hole.

Ok here is the cover. Both these images have been altered by myself in an attempt to increase their clarity. You guys recognize this logo?ravensgrace wrote:Don't know if this means anything, but I was finally able to make out the front cover. It's not a Gideons this time, but it says The Bible. It looks really familiar, so I'm checking a few copies I have for a match.Zephir wrote:yeah i converted it from flv to mp4 and it still looks terrible even when it's resized to almost a thumbnail.
