I agree. The only explanation I can come up with is... Daniel went back with Cowboy to Cowboy's cabin, in Cowboy's vehicle (which we haven't seen yet). Cowboy's Friend, who drives a white van, was in the bar when Bree and Jonas came in. He overheard their inquiries and followed them outside. He was on the phone to Cowboy, telling him there was trouble afoot, when Bree and Jonas left to go to Cowboy's house. Bree and Jonas stopped for the night, but Cowboy's Friend drove straight through and got there ahead of them. Cowboy's friend left in Cowboy's vehicle with Daniel. Cowboy took the van to the rest stop, maybe expecting to be followed. Don't know WHY exactly things occurred this way, but it fits the hard facts as we know them.

your theory is that Cowboy's friend (the guy in the parking lot) has Daniel in a DIFFERENT vehicle and that the van actually belongs to Cowboy's friend?

Another movie this kinda reminds me of is A House of a Thousand Corpes. That would be very odd to if they went in there and seen a half daniel half fish statue.

Some people think that they went all the way back to Jonas'. I don't think that is so because apparantly it is very far from where they were (they had to stay overnight to get there). I think they are back at the hotel for that reason.
I think they're back home. They only stayed at a motel going out because they got a late start, and because they're wimps. It WAS a long drive back, and Jonas says he's dead tired.

The fact that Jonas didn't even discuss going back to the cabin also signals to me that they're home. Once they gave up on the cabin, why wouldn't they just go home?
I don't think they went home, if they did they gave up too quick and easily. They need to make sure they have looked everywhere for daniel.
I just hope they are not too late.

Poor, poor Daniel. Hes gonna need some special TLC when he makes it out of this..Or..If he makes it out of this...

I have yet to see that movie. But I herd alot of different opinions about it.

I dunno depends on how long the showers are, how much soap he uses and how much tooth past and mouth wash is used when he brushes his teen and also how long for that too. lol.

I think that Jonas and Bree should at least check the outside of the house. Look around for shallow graves and cult supplies.

As for your second point, I'm not understanding people think that Jonas is part of the Order just because they haven't ransacked or burned down his house yet. Just because they know where it is doesn't mean that they're going to take immediate action. Remember that the theory is that they're big on free will, so they're not going to storm in and grab Bree. Jonas being a part of the Order just doesn't make sense and would seriously be an illogical and unsatisfying plot twist.
