"Miss Me?" No Mention of Jonas-Other Anomalies

Whether Daniel is "in" on it or not, the message that the order is trying to send Bree is pretty clear:

-- They either kiddnapped Daniel or told him to leave Bree alone for several days with no word; either way they want to scare the crap out of her and make her think he's in trouble

-- They posted the video on Daniel's account, so they want her to know that they're controlling him, one way or another

-- They're pushing the point that they have the power. They either turned Daniel, brainwashed him, or he's been with them the whole time. No matter how you look at it, they're in control

I don't think Daniel's in the order. It would seem pretty pointless for him to have to fake his own kiddnapping to prove a point that he could have shown her himself. Plus if it weren't for him, they would have had her a long time ago anyway.

I mean, if Daniel really wanted to creep her out, he could have given her this message in person. That would have driven a better point, I think.

I read this somewhere on LGpedia: The shirt he's wearing has two dice on it rolled to "snake-eyes". That's the worst roll you can get in just about any game. Interesting how he's wearing it now and when they were on the run.

What about Daniel's ID?

I like the theory that it isn't really him. but a puppeted image of him (using the ID they could have stolen . . . I mean, they never show his legs). Anyone seen Johnny Mnemonic? Haha. And that slang reminds me of the Scooby Doo movie with the demons that have to learn how to act like "normal" teenagers. I watch too many movies.

I think that if he was brainwashed, he said only what the Order told him to say. Because let's face it, he was a little disoriented, if he did say something about Jonas... the Order might have edited it out so they could focus on Bree.

lol Mcorneli that is exactly what I was thinking when I heard Daniel talking in that video, (the whole scooby doo thing). I mean he was uncharicteristically (lol is that spelled right?) trying to be "hip", you know? I don't know what to think here, soo many possibilities!!!

I really like Jonas' character because I think there is a lot of uncertainty behind his character. I think it makes sense for him to have been involved in The Order all along----If you think about it, Jonas entered the scene just like Gemma did (even though Bree knew her beforehand). Gemma randomly sent Bree a message after a long time being apart from her, and ended up being a traitor.

Jonas randomly wished her Happy Thanksgiving and sent her a video out of no where. I also agree with what was mentioned before---Daniel didn't mention Jonas' name in the video because (a) Jonas is already part of The Order and (b) Jonas' is her only ally right now, so they don't want Bree being skeptical of him.

That really bites though cause I like Jonas a lot.

I have also thought that Daniel may be faking this whole tie to The Order (even though he looks brainwashed in the video). I don't know...I don't want to give up on the danielbeast yet!

Lol, I was sure that Gemma was trying to help Bree too. But instead of assuming that the shirt etc....mean that Daniel was brainwashed, couldn't they just be clips of things that Op got when she had the camera in his room?

I mean could she piece together little clips that she had recorded while spying on him, and then made them into this video? I know very little about making videos, so I don't know if it is possible....but it would help account for some of the grammar/tense changes in Daniel's sentences.......

If I cold only figure out what the heck the beast was talking about spin art for.

I don't think that OP pasted this video together. I think it would be more obvious. Daniel wouldn't be sitting in the same position. Daniel is definately kidnapped/working for the Order.

I really think this blue shirt is there on purpose. The creators know we're not stupid. We've cracked much of the codes they've handed us and usually within 24 hours. Also, the creators read these boards (obviously, since we almost dictate what the next videos are gonna be like) and there was a HUGE stink on the forum about Daniel's shirt when he's sleeping in 'On The Run' (at least, I think that's the correct vid). Yes, it IS interesting that he whips it out NOW.

Remember the lawyer guy Daniel met on the train? WHY did he mention this guy to us? We thought it was a metaphor. But maybe it was Daniel telling us he was IN. And remember Jonas meeting the lady at the bakery? Common characteristic jobs for people in The Order... maybe they got Daniel because he's so weak minded sometimes (ahem, BREE) but couldn't control Jonas as easily or quickly.

All very very interesting!

I made this post in the thread for "Miss Me" and no one said anything about it. I think it's relevant here, too.

If you go watch the Ends Justify the Means video, you can see that the camera quality is similar - very blown out, lots of white, etc. What if, when Daniel found the camera, he recorded a message for the order to see, in which he could have been acting sarcastically or mockingly (which explains the 'hood talk), and that is the material that op used to make the video we're seeing now? Which could mean that Daniel isn't even in custody of the order right now and is still being toyed with by the Cowboy. Eek :(

Did we ever find out what Daniel did with the hidden camera he found?
