They are stupid as anything but also soo lovable!! 2 of my friends had basset hounds and Daisy was 2 before I think she figured out her name was Daisy lol

And Willy...well Willy had issues, never really figured out much of anything

Ok, lol, I think that would make me nuts, if I had a dog that didn't know it's own name.. never responding to be called, having to go out and grab it to bring it in the house all the time, lol! Well, at least she learned in the end, that's something!
