Jimi Hendrix References
Me, I am a huge Jimi Hendrix fan. So these two Jimi Hendrix references (possibly three which i'll discuss later) ring me into the LG15 series even more.
Well the first two references are clear. Jonas pointed out that he doesn't want Daniel to "die like Hendrix did." And he was also wearing a Jimi Hendrix shirt in the past episode.
But a third reference could be the name of the latest video, “Storm The Castle”. Jimi Hendrix wrote a song called "Spanish Castle Magic" which is about how he and his former bass player (before he became a star) always drove to a club and they had a bunch of bumps along the road because he had this old, beater car. But he also adds in bringing 'a girl' to this place which is a 'really groovy place'.
"Hang on my darling
Hang on if you wanna go
Here its a really groovy place"
are the lyrics in that part of the song.
It's possible, that the actor of Jonas just thought it'd be cool to throw in some Hendrix's references. But at the sime time it could be the producers throwing in a clue to what might happen later in the show.
Could Bree overdose purposly or by accident? Or will somebody else? Will Jonas steer Bree into another direction (like he's trying to now)? Is Daniel steering Bree in a different direction (or is the order controlling Daniel)?
I know, it's probably insignificant to the plot, but I wanted to throw this out there anyways.

James,
That's a very interesting new take! I've heard a lot about the movie references in LG15 but don't recall reading about more than one Hendrix reference. That's great that you can provide a fresh perspective.
Thanks for joining the Forum and spawning such a new conversation!

Jonas is no Bruce Wayne, but he is a mild-mannered millionare with a secret identity.
He's HamsterMan, and his parents' bedroom is really the entrance to the HamsterCave.
The reference to Bruce Wayne and the hamster tags all make sense now!

It was in "Foosball Battle," toward the end.cbizzle44 wrote:when have we heard jonas play guitar?
It is. It's a very common idiom, and has been used for a lot of purposes (it's the name of a show, a band, and an episode of Arrested Development, I think).JustAnotherLonelyGirl. wrote:That's a possibility, perhaps. But I think "storm the castle" is a fairly common phrase too.
