0132 - Drinking Problems [2/13/07]

Okay, prediction time! So far, all of my predictions have been wrong. Every last one of them. But it is fun so here I go again. Did anyone here ever see the 1962 film starring Frank Sinatra, The Manchurian Candidate? The original is one of my all time favorite movies).
I think OP has brainwashed Daniel in a way that Daniel isn't even conscious of. She's going to use him later and is just biding her time. Daniel is now a Sleeper Agent for the order and he doesn't even know it.

I was thinking the same thing after seeing the "Rescuing Daniel". If he doesn't remember making that video, what else doesn't he remember - like psychological reprogramming?

I like it. I thought this may have even happened before Daniel went to Jonas' house. See Here It would explain why "Cowboy" was able to lead him away so easily. Something triggers Daniel to go into "state". Plus, it could lead to some dramatic plot developments down the road.

I'm mostly worried about what he spilled. They could make him say anything, remember? And he doesn't know what he said.

That said, the Order knows a lot about these people already just from watching the videos... there isn't that much more to tell.

I dunno, but we'll have to look very carefully. You made some really good points on the 'Miss Me' thread about the shirt being his and all (although OP could have taken some changes of clothes from his room when she installed the cameras since she was planning to kidnap him all along). We'll just have to keep our eyes opened.

But Bree said there are things she can't talk about, things she won't talk about and things she doesn't know about. Even we in the forums with all our sleuthing minds have many unanswered questions.

ETA: Remember how many of us were so frustrated with Bree for not telling Daniel everything she knows about her religion and the Order? Remember how annoyed many of us were when she wouldn't tell us or Daniel or Jonas everything her dad revealed to her? Seems she was wise to keep her mouth shut. Daniel might have told OP many things but, thanks to Bree's wise decision to remain tight lipped, there is also much that even Daniel doesn't know.

Simple, they can't brainwash Bree to do the ceremony. She has to be willing to do. At least that seems to be what it's getting at. Other wise they could have taken her, a long time ago. Or you're right brainwashed her or something. But they can't she has to be willing to do it.

Indeed... there are many unanswered questions, Bree is getting wiser. It is frustrating for those of us on the forums, sometimes, but they are getting smart.

Still, the Order knows more than it should. I'm positive they know where Jonas's house is. Now, they won't just grab Bree, because they know she has to come willingly. But Jonas and Daniel had better watch out, and Bree has to be strong. As long as she remembers always to oppose the Order, however, she never has to do the ceremony. Now, this is easier said than done, but if it weren't for this the Order would have long done whatever they want to do to her by now.

when i read that my mind automatically thought of a storyline of jonas and bree getting together and falling in love while daniel just third wheel's it. that would be brutal and i secretly want DB & Bree to get together all ready, but the jonas scenario would but (mean)funny.

Nahhh. The creators are leaving open the possibility that Jonas and Bree are brother and sister, just like Luke and Leia turned out to be in Star Wars.

Trainer, before this vid, I would have argued with you. But given that this vid was so emphatic about how strange it was that DB went with the Cowboy, I have to agree that it's a possibility.

I've been saying all alone that it's suspicious how we know nothing of Daniel's parents. what if Daniel was a sort of sleeper agent from birth? girls are chosen for the ceremony, guys as watchers?
