AS, I actually bought a "Make Your Own Lotion and Lip Gloss" kit at Michael's Craft store. I bought it to make little gifts for my friends. I've had this box for 3 months. I think tomorrow, I should do it.

Ooo I was just there the other day! What kind did you get?

I got the Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter and some vanilla body wash. It's so cold and dry where I am that my skin is cracking horribly...maybe this will help.

Jess.. Wow, that's cool that you do that. You could actually market your own original soap and sell it on E-Bay. Have you tried that?

The kit I bought will make apple, raspberry, or both swirled together so that they look pretty. It's called the "Spa Indulgence" kit. It involves a lot of WAY hot stuff, so I better get my gloves ready!

AS.. Cherry and vanilla is one of my favorite combos. I love it in diet coke. I also really love lavendar and vanilla. I've started buying that kind of laundry detergent and fabric softener.

Cool! I got a bunch of Japanese Cherry Blossom stuff for Christmas

I may have to go take a bubble bath with it tonight

They have this new Ile de Tahiti™ stuff which is great!

Well, I haven't made it yet!

I have read the instructions, though.

Even the box smells yummy good!!

Lip Gloss: They give you sunflower oil and beeswax beeds. You melt them in the microwave, melting every 30 seconds. Divide up and add coloring. Add flavoring until the desired fragrance is achieved.

Lotion: Start with shea butter. Use boiled water to loosen and pour until it is the consistency you like. Play around with color and smell again. Shake it all up. Layer the colors or spiral them if you want.

I just buy Glycerin at a local store, melt it down, add natural dyes and scents along with stuff like oatmeal, lavender etc

They have the stuff to make it at most craft stores and it's a lot of fun!!

I MEANT to say "stirring" every 30 seconds.

We are going to TOTALLY lose Joe and Cloud soon, if we haven't already. I am concerned.
