How does that not work grammatically? "a lion fenced" is a thing... the only thing not grammatically okay is the lack of a preposition before "process"... it should be "a process", probably.leocass86 wrote:4PROCESS SO TIED/IS A LION FENCED
For that to work it would have to ba AS a lion fenced. Gramatically, it doesn't work. But something about it is very very close.

It's a metaphor. A metaphor is a comparison using Like or As... not is. Is gramatically does not work in a metaphor.EmilyElle wrote:How does that not work grammatically? No, that's a similie. A metaphor can be a direct comparison... "the grandmother's hair was tumbling snow on a mountain of the wrinkles of years", or somesuch.leocass86 wrote:It's a metaphor. So I got my words crossed. In any case, I don't see it working out the way it's written. As you said, process so tied doesn't work either. The line isn't complete.EmilyElle wrote:No, that's a similie. A metaphor can be a direct comparison... That I agree with, but I really like something about a "lion fenced".leocass86 wrote:So I got my words crossed. In any case, I don't see it working out the way it's written.
