Regarding the "haiku", I was toying with the idea of the last line reading like: "a subtle clue: I Drew", meaning that "I Drew" itself is the "subtle clue". Then I starting thinking that anagramming "I Drew" to "weird" would make the last line 5 syllables. Such a change would make it an actual haiku.

Then I dismissed the whole line of thinking and ate a burrito. Just throwing this out there.

The first letter of each sentence in the haiku excluding the X, spells Wyatt. Wyatt was the fake name on Daniel's ID.

Just wanted to state the obvious: if this is a traditional xy hex puzzle --> the password will be seven letters long.
