I can see the 76, but i wonder why the 7 is all wobbly? to the left of the 76 I see a smaller but darker 70, and in between 7 and 6 I see a tiny 5.
What with there being so many people hidden in this image, I've been looking for a photo of Aleister Crowley that would fit in the shadows, but I can't find one. We would need either a close-up where he was looking slightly up and to our right (in the centre), or a half-body shot with him in robes accompanied by a girl (to the right). I've not been able to find a photo that works just right.
A while ago someone mentioned the numbers 15 and 19 in the symbols of ligatures. Has anyone found anything else relating to that?
I tried changing the file extension to .psd. It didnt work and I felt silly.

Okay, I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly but here it goes. Could someone please show me where everyone is seeing all this other stuff in the unlocked photos. I've been staring at the pictures for a while now and all I can see is a hidden watchers eye. I do not see any people in it or the number 76. Is there someone who posted a picture with the images circled or anything? I feel a bit stupid for asking but I really want to see it!

I looked closely at both AMALGAMATION, and at LIGATURES, and I think the same number appears in both, and it is actually 765. (The 5 is the same size but a bit fainter than the 6). Since the number appears in both images in the same location, I think it may be associated with the Theta+Pi image that also appears in that corner (same layer).lostgurl wrote:I just sharpened the AMALGAMATION and found the number 76 in the lower rt. corner. I've read the thread and I don't think that anyone has mentioned this. hope this helps... maybe a pg. #?

I read that there is a hidden watcher symbol in the images... The main file is SEMIOTICS which references symbols... Could it possibly just be confirming what we have suspected all along? That there is a watcher amongst the characters? I know that's probably far too simple, but as we were discussing last night, we may be reading way too much into things.
Wake me up when the puzzles end.
Ok, let me be the unpopular voice of reason:
Ever hear of a rorschach test guys? Ink blots that are not designed to look like anything, and each person sees something different in them? Or when everyone says you can hear musicians saying something if you play their songs backwards? You never heard it before, but after someone told you it was there you could hear it, and wondered how you ever missed it?
I just want to remind everyone the reason it took us so long to solve the password to the file was that we completely overthought the clues. Now it looks like we are doing it again.
I urge everyone to NOT spend all their time chasing phantoms in these files. We opened the file, got the information. The text file, in my opinion, deserves more scrutiny than the picture files. Not for hidden meanings, but for the information actually provided.
If we get a clue later on saying there is something in the images, we can look over them, but it doesnt seem to be a viable lead at this time. We did our part for the story so far, the next move is theirs.
