I got giddy for all of you who got shout-outs from Daniel, congrats to all whose names were mentioned and congrats to Lurker for having his post featured in the vid!

Also glad to hear that things are getting patched up between Jonas and Daniel. I knew they'd come to their senses soon enough and realize that fighting amongst themselves is a bad idea!

i was juss had a thought, okay, so the board that figured it out was the parallax one, right?

isn't that op-aphid?

why would he shout out someone who is against the scooby gang (daniel/jonas/bree)?

Even though Parallax is the new OpAphid arc, the OpAphid characters include Tachyon and Brother, (meaning they all, unless I'm mistaken, have the same PM). When a puzzle comes along, everyone bands together to contribute towards solving it, regardless of what sire they're on. So, technically, while some of the people that Daniel gave a shout-out to are Op supporters, not all are. To his knowledge, we're all just forum-posters and I don't know if he has knowledge that people have chosen sides. IOW, he has no knowledge that he gave any shout-outs to OpAphid supporters, only that he gave shout-outs to forum-posters.

Does that clear some things up? If not, I apologize, it's late and my thoughts might not be as clear as I seem to think they are.

yeah, no matter how opaphid-dedicated people are, they still solved the puzzle and therefore helped daniel- so of course he thanks them

but then again, posting his findings online might have been a bad idea. now they know what we know....

Kelly (Killthesmiley) was the first to post all three deciphered file names. That's why I added her name to my post. I can explain the rest too if you don't already know why.
