Bree becoming really, really, really proactive?

Clues. Theories. Where do you think the story is headed?

Why are so many of our questions about what has PASSED rather then what is comming next? Doesn't bespeak a kind of ambiguity of action that isn't really a good thing? Maybe this media (videos of people talking to cameras) doesn't work well when it comes to action: there are too many blanks to fill in.

They've never gone back and explained previous actions before: in fact, after an event has passed, it's rare that they ever mention it again, so we're NEVER going to find out where or how she found the symbol.

It's kind of funny how quick you people were though, so associate the word "proactive" with cruelty and torture. She's taking action. This does NOT mean our quiet, doe-eyed Bree has become a professional "interogator" overnight. She's voiced in the past a severe dislike of cruelty ("I could never kill a deer"). She said "that dumb girl died when you killed her father." Implying that now she is going to be using her smarts against them. NOT that she is going to be torturing thier man until he talks. She didn't, at any point, threaten his safety.

Action is a GOOD thing. It does not equal torture.

I believe that was meant to imply a dominatrix, or simply a brutal woman.

This was a repeat post, so I deleted the what was here, and I'm going to ask another question.

If Miss Olga is a dominatrix, wouldn't that still be torture, albeit, not hardcore, but still torture.

Yep, it's what'll happen next that has me wondering. Either she's going to have to find a way to test Jonas' loyalties or fate will have to step in.

I'm still torn on whether or not he's guilty... :-k

Apparently you aren't aware of the uses of overstatement or exaggeration. If you look at my first post, I asked if anyone else would get a thrill out of it.

As for your assessment of the show <yawn>.

I can't help but think the forum influenced the thinking of the Creators when it comes to Bree becoming more proactive. That used to be the number one complaint.

I don't think the will of the forum dictates what happens, but I do think it's possible they found the argument convincing.

(And I'm glad, if that's the case.)

Oh, yes, I definately think we did influence this; and not a moment too soon, might I add. Watching Bree was beginning to feel like a trip to the dentist.

Dictates? No.
Influences? Yes.
For me, that's part of the fun. To see how much our ideas are incorporated into the story.
I'm not gonna lie. Every time I see anything even resembling one of my crazy theories portrayed on screen, I do a little dance. :)
It's ALL connected...

This is a trend I'd love to see continue. Bree is a smart girl: we know it, the writers know it, everyone knows it, but this is the first time we've actually SEEN her fire a few synapses in her own interest.
I couldn't agree more. Love the innocent Bree, sure, but with all that's happened, we need a stepping up Bree that we can respect and applaud. That's so starting to happen now. Most excellent.

I for one don't mind seeing more of the :smt066 type of feeling (but hopefully not towards Jonas anymore!!)

Ok, what I really want to know is how little Bree managed to tie up big macho Jonas. That is what I want to see a video of. [-o<
