one of those times...
when you think, "are daniel and bree totally stupid?". Daniel keeps saying how jonas couldn't have gone far, because he walked. Does it seem at all significant that jonas's footsteps stopped on a ROAD? i dont think its at all improbable that he hitchhiked out of there, but they seem to be under the impression that he's still walking around in the woods.
also, daniel admitting on video (that bree is definately going to see!) that he loosened jonas's binds. bree's gonna have to lay the smack down...
sorry if this has been said- i haven't read through stuff yet, just my initial reaction

I still think it was a road, it looked like one to me. I know someone saw a dock, but there is a lake in that area, so it would make sense. We are working on the belief that this is a secluded cabin in the mountains, there for that road wouldn't be a high traffic road. So they could easily be thinking that he is still out there, because there is rarely anyone driving by, we also don't know if he took his cell phone or not, it wasn't mentioned, so we can't say he did call someone, plus I would think if he did take the cell phone, at least DB would risk it and try calling Jonas to apologize and what not.
I dunno it's all a little fishy, they just need to get the next video out already!! lol

*currently watching video again*
10 mins later...
STUPID COMPUTER! it isn't loading... one moment...

ok. rewatched, and it looks like a road to me... one of those backroads without yellow or white lines in the middle. i have a screencap right here:
anyway, the fact that its a random backroad is a little weird. i think he's in the order, and called someone from the order to pick him up

[its a road] i'm a believer in the theory that the DANIEL is part of the order, and when the 2 were on the 'hike' daniel planted that piece of wood for bree to find. the then [knowing jonas was not part of the order] let him go, and planned for him to be kidnapped by the order on the road. He then went and followed the footsteps to make sure the deed had been done.
*insert something witty here*
Not possible. Jonas admitted that the art with the symbol was always in the house, but that he didn't know what it was and had nothing to do with the Order.sskylaarr wrote:[its a road] i'm a believer in the theory that the DANIEL is part of the order, and when the 2 were on the 'hike' daniel planted that piece of wood for bree to find.

another thing- he's obviously SEEN the watcher symbol (what with opaphid getting daniel and everything), so if the thing's been there forever, why didn't he make that connection. the symbols aren't the same, but remarkably similar, so its reasonable to think he'd figure it out. more proof he's with the order, in my opinion

I think maybe he may have called someone to pick him up once he got to the back road.. Whoever it was he was communicating with on the phone after they got to the cabin. Whether that be someone with the Order or someone on an opposing side. Personally I hope it's not the Order, because I think they could do so much more with the plot thusfar. Bring some new element into it, perhaps?

Okay guys, it is a road. Do you want to know why?
1. No river has the powdery residue that was obviously on the road
2. Back country roads usually are simply one lane and therefore have no yellow markings.
3. Even if it WAS a river, that was a pretty shallow river and pretty small, therefore there is NO way he would magically sail down that to the open sea.
4. Rivers flow, and when they flow they have sound. That "river" was completely still and had no sounds, therefore it was asphault.
Best bet, he called the order and got picked up.
Edit for: Reason 4, which didn't dawn on me till I posted.
