It wouldn't go that far, especially if there is an ulterior motive for stabbing himself.

God, I hope not. Why would she? :O( Poor Jonas. I'm worried.

Tell me why they would upload a video like this...
Well, from the Creators standpoint, I think this video and the "Beach Bum" video were trying to get across to us how tired the boys are of not having a normal life because of Bree. It could be leading to them abandoning her, or, if Jonas is Order, the Order causing a slow riff between Daniel and Bree. She would then be surrounded by the Order (adding the aunt as Order).

These are my thoughts, though I'm not completely sure of them, obviously.
Well I kinda meant...at a TIME like that. Because obviously Bree or whoever had time to upload and edit the video and do all that stuff to it and you'd think by then that they'd be back at the aunts or somewhere where they'd have progress of how Jonas was doing. It's hard for me to get into it sometimes lately cause some of the vids are just sooo unbelieveable. Ya Know?? But your post did make a lot of sense though. Hadn't thought of it that way.

So I watched "Sorry Jonas" again and it now makes sense to me how he would/could have stabbed himself there...if it slipped.

Thanks to this video last night I had a dream my BF stabbed me...that was creepy.

Has anyone noticed that this is a stigmata wound? http://skepdic.com/stigmata.html

Given that Jonas is a man, who is sacrificing himself for the sins of others - (Bree refusing to do the ceremony). This could have deep metaphorical and psychological implications. And we already know Jonas has been in therapy. I wonder if he has a history of this sort of thing?
You made a wise choice, Bree.

How is Jonas sacrificing himself for Bree?
That was the weirdest display of geekdom that I have ever seen in my entire life.

I don't know about California, but here in Louisiana you are asked for ID when you go to the emergency room. I think this is to make sure there is no insurance fraud.

Here in Canada Health care is free (through taxes) so we don't have to worry about isurance fraud until it comes to medications.

The thing is, though, nobody forced Bree to say "Let's not take him to a hospital." She made that decision entirely on her own. So she really has lost it.
well basicly it was a win win situation no matter what. either she gives in, they go to the hospital and the order finds them. or else she says no, we cant go to the hospital and everyone thinks shes lost it. so if this was cooked up, shes kinda doomed no matter what she does right?

i also noticed that the wound looked oddly like a stigmata wound, dont think theres any signifigance tho...

I did notice that, although I didn't really think about it much. I'm wondering if it is intended to have those implications because it seems rather lost on a lot of the viewers. I would say that he does act sort of like Christ in his self-sacrificing and mentoring, but at the same time he seems to struggle with it more than one would expect Christ did. He has, however, been persecuted by Bree and Daniel to some extent who are his followers in a sense. [/i]

I don't view Jonas as a Christ-like figure.

I don't know what to think about the stigmata thing. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the wound, but it could be just a coincidence. If the Creators wanted an injury in the storyline (either to point out something in Bree's mind-set, or to lead to something else later on), this hand injury would be the easiest thing, given Jonas trying to break into his aunt's office. So is it meant to be a stigmata reference, or is it just that this particular injury fit in with the storyline? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

If it were supposed to be a stigmata reference, I think we'd have seen holes in both hands. Otherwise it isn't obvious enough.

I agree with both longlostposter and Lurker. Christ gave up his life, Jonas hasn't done anything that big.

I agree. But I think Jonas is prone to inflated ideas about himself (i.e. the Bruce Wayne superhero thing) Self admitted, Jonas has issues. Might not one of them be a martyr complex?

I don't know if it's a big deal or not to the storyline, but Jonas mental health has certainly been mentioned before.

That's very interesting, and Jonas has acted like that before. I don't think it is related to the wound, but it is something to look out for.
