[Discussion] Cassie Coincidence?

Post by LuckyStrike502 »

Hey everyone. I was doing a google search, and I came across this. I found it odd. Check out the name of this book, and the characters.

Is this just a coincidence, or is this author using the LG15 characters?

THATS REALLY F-ING CREEEEEPY!

Bree's mom is busy with work. Her brother is mad at her about his broken arm. Cassie, who's spending the summer with her grandmother across the street, is two years older and too cool for Bree's games. Luckily, Bree has a friend to keep her company: Joey, who's trustworthy, understanding--and completely imaginary.
When you're eleven, an imaginary friend can be awkward, and when Cassie starts taking an interest in Bree, things with Joey suddenly aren't as much fun anymore. Bree finds herself wanting to be more like Cassie, cutting her hair and changing her clothes. Then, as they're starting to make friends, Bree discovers that Cassie has some secrets of her own--like kissing Bree's brother, and the real reason she's in town.

Assured, funny, true-to-life, Cassie Was Here is a story about choosing and keeping friends; about being eleven and wanting to be thirteen; and about family, generosity, and the aches of growing up.

CASSIE WAS HERE is the name of the booook. scarrry!

oh and hi Jason!

Pee Ess: It would be super creepy if a character named Joey showed up soon. hmmm....

Haha, I thought about emailing the author too. I guess I'll wait and see if you get a reply first. If not, I'll email her too.

Let's see…"Cassie Was Here," featuring Cassie and Bree. Cassie is 2 years older. "Cassie has some secrets." Haha…omg! Too much!

Wow! This was quite a find, Jason! BTW, check out the names of a couple of the author's favorite books: The Witches and The Egypt Game!
Cassie is listening to the White Album.

I'm considering doing that too, 'cause now I'm kinda curious about what sort of hijinks young Bree and Cassie get up to. Kissing boys, making prank phone calls, writing anagrams, fleeing from The Order…

I think it's more than a coinqidink, way more than a coinqidink. Anybody know if The Creators have a copyright on Bree or Cassie? Could get really interesting if they do.
