That's the way I see it. She could have made up the scrapbook as evidence, then been reprogrammed and turned into a good little footsoldier for the Order. That would be why she gave up photography and why it was so easy for her to give it up - it wasn't required for her new function, so they didn't bother to include it in her new personality. I'm wondering if all her clothing designs are in black, though.
These were my thoughts exactly (in my previous posts on this thread). That she has been brainwashed or worse (possibly much worse) by the order. In fact I don't think she has simply been brainwashed, I think she has essentially been reprogrammed. That is why she was able to just give up photography at age 26. This reminds me of a combination of the Stepford Wives and the body snatchers. Very, very creepy.

I think the Order may have done the same thing the Jonas's parents that they've apparently done to Alex (if we trust Tachyon's word as much as we believe we should). Thus far, Tachyon has given us no reason not to, even Bree said "If she says we can trust him, we can trust him."

SO, that being the case, there may be truth to her theory that Alex was once a member of the resistance, but then betrayed them. But why would someone suddenly betray their family and beliefs? The Order may have a way to abduct and reprogram people to work for them. Such as when they had Daniel convinced the Order was a group of nice people and that he should join. Maybe they did the same thing to Cassie too! Like if Cassie, after being 'freaked out' by Bree's religion, joined the Anti-Order movement, but then was captured and brainwashed by the Order. I wonder also, about Jonas's nanny. Maybe she had something to do with this too.

Also, Alex says that Jonas's parents have been very busy. Doing what? I believe it was Juli who said that maybe his and Bree's parents were switched for some reason. I was actually thinking along the same lines. What could they have been doing all this time? As far as we know, couples are used for raising those who have been kidnapped for the ceremony. So it seems Jonas's parents may have been doing just that - raising an abductee in a 'controlled' home.

Lastly, I am worried about Bree. She's going to Alex's house now. They can't use cellphones. Does she have access to the internet? I sure as hell hope so. :?

The Fur Elise music reminded me of A Clockwork Orange. Anyone seen it? The main character was obsessed with Beethoven. Then he underwent this treatment that caused him to feel deathly sick every time he heard Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Maybe Daniel's trigger is Fur Elise and he's going to snap into "I LOVE THE ORDER" mode! I doubt it, but that'd be pretty sweet.

aw, a little of the old Ludwig van.

Yikes...A Clockwork Orange meets LG15 would be so very, very wrong. If Danny-boy and Jonas start frequenting milk bars and strutting about with canes and codpieces, I don't know what I'll do.

And another neat thing about Fur Elise is that it was originally titled "Fur Therese", but was transcibed incorrectly. Perhaps meant to be evocative of mistaken identity for Alex.

Also, something from Wiki that I'm sure is irrelevant but seems funny for some reason:

"In some countries, including parts of Taiwan and Iran, the tune is played by garbage trucks to notify people to bring their trash out to be picked up."
Whatever happened to that girl Julie?

Remember, though, that Bree specifically said that her dad said that "girls who show potential, at birth," are placed in "controlled homes" to see if, at puberty, they "develop the characteristics needed for the ceremony."
Yeah...the whole story seems very matriarchal in nature. Women seem to have the power or influence over many things. Not that it demeans men...it just seems that women are pivotal to the order. Much like in a bee colony and the queen.

Did anyone do the cronological history of this thing so far???

We know Alex changed the course of her life around 26

How old is she now? What is the age difference between herself and her nephew. When did her marriage end?

Toby the cousin last saw Jonas at the funeral. How long ago did Jonas parents "die"?

Jonas is 19. So he would be ___ at the time of his parents alleged boating accident.

Was there a date mentioned at the time of the uprising against the Order?

Also, Alex mentioned the ones that come after her.

I think it is again a reference to another section of the order. I suspect there is divisions or subgroups, one being watchers... I think the ones that she was warning off are the ones that have the authority and power to destroy. Watchers only watch.

She warned that they almost certainly will come after them now, as if, this latest interaction with the order was the ending of their studying them (The I in APHID is infiltrate) and beginning of a new stage on how the order will deal with Bree not complying with their desires. The D in APHID is Destroy is it not?

If I am right then the Lonelygirl series may be making a dramatic shift.

Alex... so cold and cut off from her passions and her family. How can that happen to a person? It sounds like money was a key to her selling out.

Chronological....

In one of Jonas' first videos he says his parents were lost at sea six years ago. Making him 13 when it happened.
Since he's 19 now and Alex is over 26 they are at least seven years apart, probably more.
So Alex was at least 20 when Jonas' parents disappeared.

We know Alex changed the course of her life around 26, if she was 26 when Jonas' parents disappeared that would make her 32 now. Which doesn;t make sense since they keep saying how she's not that much older than they are, but 32 is quite a bit older than 19.

She would likely of been a part of the order preceeding the 'uprising or resistance'. Her initials are not on the paper, and therefore she is not in her own scrapbook.

It is just assumed earlier that she would be sympathetic because she is Jonas' Awnt and she was not in the order or anti-order = until recent events.

She looks like she could be 32.

Her home is pretty nice, including a grand piano, so that age would fit her. It is not so young and hip looking as a younger age might lend itself too.

She falls into her own demographics she is selling to for her fashions.

To me 32 is not that far away from 19. as we do not have any more information that her change in life and heart at around 26 coincided with her nephews parents removal I think it is possible.

Obviously now, she is quite aware and has some contact with Jonas parents, enough to assess they are happy. Of course she could be lying.

I think the reason she is attracted to younger guys could be because it takes her back to a time when she was alive,..
