I don't know guys, I have a hard time buying that the order is flying helicopters around following 3 kids in the desert. You need licenses and permits and stuff to do that. I know that order has a lot of resources, but that just seems dumb and risky. Its not like the order has a hard time finding them anyway...they film everything they do...

I don't think it would be difficult for them at all. The Order and the trio have already pointed out that there are people in high places associated with the order. I am sure at least one, if not more, could very well have the licenses and permits needed to fly a helicopter around.Gidget wrote:I don't know guys, I have a hard time buying that the order is flying helicopters around following 3 kids in the desert. All the Order would really need is one high-ranking military officer to follow them around with a helicopter. Does anyone else think they look like military helicopters?
You can call me Juli or LLP, whichever suits your fancy.

That's probably because the creators are using stock footage of helicopters. They aren't really going to hire a helicopter (and a pilot) just to insert a two-second shot of one in the air.RoseCrowley wrote:Same looking helicopter from previous vids i think...
I didn't think of that, but I love it! I can see it now: Tachy's helicopter, piloted by Brother, hovers over the truck stop. We see a rope ladder lowered down, and then a pair of legs appears out of the side of the copter. It's Bree! She waves back at Tachy in the copter door as she climbs briskly and nonchalantly down several hundred feet to the desert floor. Tachy tosses the flannel shirt down after her, calling, "Don't forget this!" Bree picks the shirt up, puts it on, and ties it around her waist as the helicopter roars off (rope ladder still dangling, but Tachy slowly cranking it back in).Sami wrote:raigne good thinking. Nope, at first I thought it could possibly be a Huey (UH-1 is the mil version of the 204/205/210/211/212) when llp mentioned military helicopters, but the vertical fin is wrong for that. The V-fin on the UH-1 and and the 210 it is completely above the boom. On the one in the video, it does drop below the boom, just as it does on a 206 (2 blades)/407(4-blades). Back to the military part: The 206/407 is the same airframe that the OH-58/AH-58 is built from, but the H-58s have mast mounted cameras, which the one in the video is clearly lacking.cittiecait wrote:if your going the bell root i'd say closer to a bell 210!!!
I'd say the one in the video is most likely a 206, since they are used a lot for news/traffic reporting which was what the chopper they actually filmed was probably being used for. (I know, I originally said 407, but the one in the vid appears to only have 2 blades)
EDIT: Back on topic though, I vote for Brother/Tachy since A) Brother has a chopper and B) It appears in the video after (I'm assuming) Jonas/DB drive past the truck stop. ie; they see it leaving the truck stop after it dropped off Bree.
But, ironically, the "O" in OH-58 is for "Observation" and they are on the run from the Order and its watchers.
Hmmm . . .
Edited yet again to add more useless info
