Forgive me for not responding sooner. I've been on vacation and haven't been on much. A few thoughts here, and then I'm going to lock this thread:
Yes, the Creators asked us not to discuss the allegations of what Glenn did. I believe the original intent of this post was not to discuss those allegations but rather a very strong request that the Creators put an end to this issue by publicly responding. That hasn't happened, and, frankly, it may not. It's not our choice, it's the Creators'. I would suggest future requests for explanation be made to them via PM.
Frankly, my personal opinion is that this thread should not have been stickied. Regardless, there are no guidelines for when to sticky a thread. So the moderators did not go against guidelines. I will examine whether those guidelines should be updated.
Lastly, I want to reiterate: if you have a problem with a user, contact them directly. Repeating concerns over and over again in a thread will not lead to a conclusion but rather will lead to frustration. If you dislike a thread and have already posted your concern, contact another moderator or, if the issue involves a moderator, contact myself (or The Creators, but they're pretty busy). Belaboring an issue only leads to flaming.
This issue has been fully discussed and is no longer stickied. I am going to lock it at this point. Contact me if you have questions or concerns.
