dorami wrote: as someone so rightly said "watchers are info gatherers" why would they shoot? i think we are missing a possibility of a spy. y'all have heard of the movie "infernal affairs" (i think in america it's called "the departed") where the good guys infiltrate the bad and so on. so perhaps that watcher was a spy for the 'anti-order' side. and perhaps auntie alex is in the same boat which is why she got 'almost' got teary.
I'm sure someone here has already done extensive research on the different types of watchers, but here is a quick sum of what I was able to find. *keep in mind I just did a quick google search.*

As far as I understand there are a few different types/watchers
1. there is the scribe/info gatherer (like in Highlander). These watchers typically are not allowed to interfere (which is not the case of our dear watcher)
2. there are the watchers whose job is to make sure that certain rules are followed (china watchers)
3. Then there are the watcher that some people believe exist based on the three books of Enoch which (from what I have been able to gather) were angels that had babies with humans. It is believed that they guided man in learning about himself and earth. Like teachers?

Anyway, most of the information on 'watchers' that I have found can fall into one of these groups.
I think that Bree's watchers are supposed to make sure that things are done according to the religious law. I think have gotten involved because rules are being broken

just putting thought to print

They don't remember anything up to the point where they were in the desert and they heard a gun shot. Interesting.

The last time Daniel was taken, he forgot everything up until the flashbang woke him up.

Hmm. Whatever they do to their prisoners can be undone with a loud bang, evidently. Weird..

PS - Apo, I really don't see Bree's hair in that screenshot. Can you tell me where in the picture to look?

Well, It is a crappy pic, but look on the right hand side. You can see her hair there.

It's not that I disagree with you Apo, but I can not seem to find the hair... I watched the video and I think I might have seen it, but I couldn't tell for sure if it was just a shadow or her hair...

I am confused.

That's what I hear from Jonas. BTW Is anyone else a bit weirded out by the fact that none of the three are at all concerned with having awakened in the desert with time lost and people shooting at them? They can't even blame the lost time on drink. None of them were drunk when they were abducted.
They must still have some happy drugs floating around in their system.

Her hair is pulled back into a messy bun. I'll see if I can outline it. :3

I remember from when we first got the name for the new OpA arc that there was a lot of talk about how the name ("Parallax") referred to shifts in perspective, often leading to a change in understanding. I'm pretty sure this shift what we're seeing now.

And of course, this just makes me wonder what could have been if the ARG hadn't gone to hell.

*sigh*

Okay, done being emo-ey nostalgic. It's better for my GPA anyways, so I really shouldn't complain.
