Hymn of One website

This isn't just welcome back Opheads. This is welcome back ARG. Let's not make this about a past game, let's move forward with a new one.
Also, I thought of a fermata, too, when I saw the symbol. But the astrology is interesting...and the hobo reference, too, lol.

Maybe this is telling us that CiW is a hobo who can sing?Kasdeja wrote:Also, I thought of a fermata, too, when I saw the symbol. But the astrology is interesting...and the hobo reference, too, lol.

On the symbols website, I followed a few more links and found this symbol, which I think makes more sense than the fermata and such:
Anyone else think it looks similar enough to work?in , the Indian graph for the greeting of peace, aum, where represents the state of transcendental consciousnes.
What is EMSMU?

I think this symbol's meaning may be more relevant...JustAnotherLonelyGirl. wrote:I found a symbol that looks like the one on this page:

From the description in the above link:
2005a was common in the Phoenician cultural sphere about 2,000 years ago.

I definitely wouldn't discount interpretating the symbol to mean "in this community they don't trouble hobos." Notice the last line of the bulletin below - "Tell all worthy ones without a home, to join the Hymn of one"Jester wrote:Wow that's really interesting..
In other words - "Homeless ones, join the Hymn of One. This community doesn't trouble Hobos."

Well, I was welcoming the actual people back to the site, Kas. However, I did forget the ARG. Welcome back, ARG (as long as there aren't numerous videos about nothing but solutions to ARG puzzles).Kasdeja wrote:This isn't just welcome back Opheads. This is welcome back ARG. ETA: Tachyon's byline has been "Tag, you're it". Could this have something to do with Mute (and whoever else) being "tagged".
I sure someone must have brought this up somewhere, but I didn't see it anywhere. Please excuse if it's been brought up already.

Hobo Code
The symbols and meanings that were mentioned earlier are actually part of the "hobo code".
Hobos used to write symbols on the sides of buildings so fellow hobos would know things, like "they don't hassle hobos", "angry husband inside", "nice lady, will give you food", etc etc etc.
Those symbols, glyphs, whatever let the hobo know if the mark was a good one.
see more here:

I doubt, although I could be wrong, that the hobo code has anything to do w/ LG's plot.

Hymn - music.
Symbol - upside-down fermata.
Fermata - placed over a note or rest to be extended beyond its normal duration.
Just a thought.

Well, damn. This series is killing me.
I just got home from having lunch in Burbank (California) with a friend. As we left the restaurant, I noticed the planter and thought it looked really nice:
Typical, urban landscaping, I suppose. Then it hit me. I've totally seen part of the design before. Here's a closeup. (Sorry it's my Treo camera...not the greatest):
The Order really is everywhere.

Hymn of One on MySpace...
I'm not a well-known forum member and nobody knows my Myspace, so I didn't think I would be "tagged" or whatever.
I tried to add Hymn of One, but I guess they've done their research...
I'm part of the Resistance.
It's been two days, and still they haven't added me.
Any thoughts?
