This supports my idea that this is a trap set up by the order. They might have forced her to do this video. Making Bree think that there is another girl. This would either get Bree to try and help this girl, helping the order get closer to her. Or maybe the order is hoping that Bree will get close to this girl while she is trying to help her and eventually save her (the new girl) from the ceremony by agreeing to do it herself (Bree) as like a trade or something. Either way, I dont' think the order really has a new girl, it is just another ploy to get a hold of Bree. At least in my opinion.

Yeh I like that idea actually. The Order know Bree has it in her to sacrifice herself for others and it stands to reason they'd exploit that.

Sorry I missed this idea when you first raised it, megs -- I agree that it's a great idea.

(And then we wouldn't really have to worry about any of these inferior girls being The New Girl! )

If you ask me, it looks like the creators had a hand in the making of a number of new vlogs with young girls and threw them all out there to see which ones we respond to, then they'll make that cannon.

Why would they use a young girl's blog in a Nikki B. and Lonelygirl video if she wasn't part of the whole shebang? It would be inappropriate to just use a random little girl's blog.

I'm surprised that there's not more reaction to Nikki's status as canon now being indisputable. I mean, sure it was obvious for a while now (OpAphid knew she existed, Nikki found the Watcher symbol before Gemma ever revealed it, and Nikki had followed Lucy), but it seemed like a lot of people still didn't think so.

I guess the new girl thing has taken center stage.


By the way, did anyone else laugh when Bree went from saying "I see faithful, naive devotion to a religion in this girl" to "I need your help finding out if this is the right girl"? We don't even know if Jules is religious, Bree!


As for all the hate towards Jules, does everyone remember how Jessica handled the role of Bree in the first few vids? Yeah, it wasn't beautiful. It wasn't terrible, no, but compare to now. Or even to the videos from a few weeks after that.

Give Jules' actor time. Most actors don't instantly feel out the role of a character. And, really, I think she improved from the first video to the second.

I'm sorry to say this, but like other pepele said I don't like "the new girl". I wish if better actress did the part instead...poor actress...she almost acted like if she was forced to say the part...

If not for Nikki Bower's hunch, Bree would have probably never given Jules a second look.

I think it might be a bit much to suspect that this is a set-up. Nikki would have had to been in on it in that case - or the Order would have somehow had to predict that Nikki would find the girl and think that she's the one.

I guess Nikki isn't that big an issue because most of us have known she was in that grey area between canon and fan for awhile? I dunno...even though I knew she was in that weird in between...since she's had inside info for so long I guess in my head she was just "canon". I dunno.

Yeah, as I said earlier, the vid that made me initially decide Nikki was canon was her vid about Oppy and Tachy. This current vid comes several days later (a lifetime on the 'net), and just appears to confirm what we already knew.

I'll tell you what I found hilarious. First Bree talks about the rats, sharing "her" bathroom, the cobwebs, and then the next thing she says is that she likes the place. Ha ha, this is when I knew she had flipped her gourd.

But neither did Bree for quite a while. I think it would appear suspicious for a first vid to be talking about religious ceremonies, and the Order would consider that.

The Creators may be using Nikki B to point out potentials. How much you want to bet that her next vid names another possibility.

Also, Jules is far too young. It would make me gag to see a girl that young being subjected to something as heinous as the Order. I honestly wouldn't be able to bear to watch it.
