A new video for my 19th birthday? Why Creators, you shouldn't have!

Anyway, I thought this video was very interesting. Unlike everyone else, I'm quite happy with the singular blog videos, as long as they provide us with information and leads, like this one did.

Also, is anyone else starting to wonder whether 'Julie' is a different person that 'Jules'? Bree is consistently saying Julie, and what we once thought was a slip or mistake in the videos, may be deliberate...

We're getting info really fast. And posting it. And they should be doing a better job of responding and reflecting it in the vids, I agree, but there's a margin of error we should give them due to timing.

I'm horribly bored I'll admit, and I'll be honest, I'm way more of a maddict than a lg addict now.

Well, Taylor's canon, as suspected. I'm glad of that. I like Taylor and I'd be interested in seeing what they'll do with her.

One question, though: Why does Bree keep calling Jules "Julie"? Her name is "Julia." The girl says so three times in her first video, and the description of that vid says so as well.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who was annoyed by this. We've been telling her about Taylor since April 17 (the day of the damn "New Girl" video!), and seven videos later (three later from Bree), she just now mentions it in a video and acts like she found it all herself - when yesterday on the forum, she was apparently just now noticing that we were telling her the girl existed (10 days after it was first mentioned to her).

What a moron. Can she at least stop asking us to let her know if we find anything since she's not going to pay attention anyway?

It's us. They know us by now. There was no way she and any other girl who registered a vlog account in the last month would have gone under our radar.

The only thing I would really call new - aside from the confirmation on Taylor - was that the Elders and the Deacons aren't the same. That and maybe the fact that more members of the Hymn of One live in ordinary neighborhoods than live in the communes (which doesn't seem earth-shattering, or particularly shocking, to me).

I probably sound a little more frustrated on this particular point than I actually am. This did confirm Taylor's status as canon (which I'm assuming was its main purpose), and I'm glad of that, yet that confirmation was presented in probably the most annoying possible manner.

It's also good that Bree's telling us a little bit about the Order - but goddammit! How long have we been asking the bitch to spill what we she knows? All these months in which we asked her stuff, Daniel asked her stuff, they got kidnapped, chased, etc., etc., the only information the idiot was sitting on was the name of her religion and the fact that more of its followers live outside the communes than live in them? And she acted like she knew shit?

Yeah, like kittenishtrance said, they're the same person. Bree's shown the girl's myspace, and Nikki's talked about her too. Bree's just showing her characteristic idiocy.

By the way, to the Creators: I want to take this moment to thank you guys for allowing us to vent so much negative criticism. A lot of people who run their own forums would be censoring it out the ass to prevent us from doing it. Even though I disagree with ... well, a lot of what you decide, this particular thing is something I think highly of you guys on at all times. Just thought you should know.

Are the Creators just trying give us something worth pondering about while they get their "next big thing" ready?

Perhaps. At least certain things got a little more clarified (such as the Watchers being not bad guys and how the Order really is organized) so that it's not 100% percent fillers and additives (boy, I sound like a food label don't I?

)

As for Lurker's rant, if you want someone to yell at, go yell at the Creators. Bree has stated in the in-character forums that she has been watching the other girls. Link to the thread this came from:

Hey, thanks for your concern. I'm so appreciative of everyone's hard work here on the forum. You guys are great! I'm not ignoring anything...you don't have to yell me . I've been looking at all of these girls...who knows, maybe The Order needs more than one? I have no idea, which is sorta the problem. Still more questions than answers. The reason she didn't seem to know about Taylor's connection was because either she got behind in her investigative work, or is just using the forum for info just like before. Yes, we've all been telling her about Taylor, but you can't be expecting Bree to be actively checking out every possible candidate personally (she doesn't have enough time and/or energy), so cut her some slack and go yell at the Creators for coming up with the whole construct we have to deal with.

Ok, so im going to try to take this video and mock some of the JD girls! (jokingly) Why? I dont see why many others see this vid as entertaining!

So this video wasnt all that great but it really doesnt matter that much. BREE is in it, and she is soo HOT... I was just staring into her sexy eyes! I dont know why they dont go to the beach again and get some fresh air, We all would Love to see Bree at the Beach, as long as shes wearing a 2-piece this time!

And how are they taking showers? I mean, I know we wont see everything, but if the videos are as they are you might as well add a little skin for more excitement! Even if it is a spongebath!

Lots of picky fans. "I want to see D or J!" "advance the plot" "more P monkey" etc. Can't please everyone.

Ask the creators if they can film your episode.

I don't mind the videos. It's one of many pieces of entertainment that I watch. I don't have time to read 30-40 pieces of forum from 20-30 topics. Considering they have many more fans who are not part of the forums, most of the info they mention is probably for the benefit of the majority who are not forum posters or readers.

For a series that relies on 2-4 minutes of airtime, your not going to get much info like a 30-60 min tv show will give. LG15 has always been bite size bits of story, with an ARG (for a short while) to occupy you before the next episode.

Anyway, I ramble every now and then.

And for all you gals, don't throw anything at me for that D&J comment....

Why not? If I were Bree, I'd be on the forums day and night, looking at what we found. I can watch all the new girls vids in the space of a day; but Bree is complaining about being "bored" at the bunker? WTH?

I agree with one thing you've said, and that is that it's not Jessica's fault. Yes, we should be mad at the creatatrons that are swiftly making what could have been great story, in a new medium, into a piece of garbage that no one will want to remember.

I know that this wasn't the intention, but it almost seems like a "Screw you," to us fans. Like they're saying that Bree can take care of herself and doesn't really need our help.
At least, that's just how it's coming across to me.

This video completely pissed me off.

The last one was boring alright...but with this one, I more and more get the feeling we're moving away from BD&J. And I don't like that.

I can see a situation where they get out of the bunker because one of the girls posts a distress call, but I really don't like all this expansion - supporting characters, different main characters, all fine...bring 'em on. But additional Brees? wth is this going to become? "Daniel's Angels"? "LonelyForce Five"?

We already have an order-hunted, teen-aged, female blogger. We don't need additional ones. Especially not so teen-aged that they annoy the hell out of you.

They should get Maddison Atkins instead. Build up a healthy, light-hearted competition with Nikki B, and we'll be in for some great investigating and battle of wits.

But nooo, instead we get videos about learning languages (again), and soccer. -_-
