These are all very good points, in my opinion. Side note: If Frank's wife left him because he was hearing voices, then how likely is that same woman to come back and leave a nice thank you note when she discovers that her husband has been communicating with a lot of other crazy people who think they hear voices too? The last thing I would expect that woman to do is try to maintain some kind of contact with the people who were (in her opinion) exacerbating Frank's illness.
