In Michigan, it's only around 30 dollars.
Oregon:
* $25 custom plate fee per registration year ($25 if your current registration has less than one year remaining. $50 for 2-year registration or if your current registration has between one and two years remaining; $100 for 4-year registration if vehicle is eligible).
* Registration fee if due (depends on your vehicle).
* $5 plate fee for two plates ($3 for one moped, motorcycle, camper and travel trailer plate).
* $20 surcharge for Crater Lake plates, $30 surcharge for Salmon and Cultural Plates (see the bottom of the page for choices and examples).
* $10 plate replacement fee, at the time of renewal, if the vehicle is already registered in Oregon ($15 if between renewals).
