And here I posted with out reading all the posts. Im a sinner. Deagol already answered.
There is a heavy musical theme in all of the pages and where the pages were picked up.
All of the pages have guitar tabs. The decoded tabs themselves refer to a concert type theme. All of the pages were picked up in music venues.
The Rue-B is a Jazz bar.
The Hurricane a night club.
Marsh Chapel a place where choral and musical concerts are held.
The venues got progressively bigger.
It seams to me that Mr. Zipp has something to do with music (duh), maybe a music teacher or something of the sort. Maybe even one of the elementary school variety, hince the Seuss.
Can't you see old Zipp walking around with a multi colored xylophone. Teaching children to sing the Hymn of One.
Conjecture once again.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

Just sit right back & you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful tripLesterG wrote:music and a possible skipper zipp on a boat...
only obvious thing that comes to mind for me is...
Popeye the sailor man
That started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailing man, The skipper brave & sure.

I think that is a very viable idea. In fact I love that answer. It just fits.giddeanx wrote:There you go more fodder for my idea that this is Jonas's father.
I think that could have been true if Maddison was acknowledged by LG15.
But since it wasn't , would Jeromy still use that character?
Would that keep him too dependent on the LG15 plot?
Would he have had a different possible identity for Zipp that was not so closely related to LG!5? I am not sure.

Personally, I feel that Mr. Zipp wouldn't be so closely related to LG15. Jeromy took care to make sure that his storyline didn't follow LG's at all. He took advantage of the fact that so many of us are truly gamers who follow LG only for the fanfic and quasi-related material. While there are certain resemblances between the 2, Maddy can certainly hold her own as an ARG, with no need to tie it in to LG at all. I think that trying to tie it in to LG would actually ruin the game and has become synonymous with certain death for an ARG.sparkybennett wrote:

What Ziola said. I personally think that the "Jonas' father" theory is the easiest to make fit, but don't think it's the correct one due to the above reasons.Ziola wrote:Personally, I feel that Mr. Zipp wouldn't be so closely related to LG15.
