Where Is Bree? 10 days and counting ...
Since What the F@#$@#$ on May 11, we've seen neither hide nor hair of Bree. 10 days is the longest gap ever without Bree in a video.
What do you think will be the resolution of this?
I blathered on my blog a bit today about the Bree Drought:
The Bree Drought: Will It Reach Biblical Proportions?

Or maybe she's off filming one of her movies.
I don't necessarily miss Bree in and of herself. What I do miss is (are?) developments that are going to move this damn series along to something vaguely resembling the resolution of a story arc. Given that the last we saw of Bree was her surrendering to the Order, it seems to me that we can't get any resolution without her reappearing at least once.

who knows?
but if bree comes back with no memory of what happened, i'm going to have to scream

Honestly, it seems like they are diverting from the plot. None of the other characters outside of BDJ really have stuck around very long, or if they have it's mostly through refrerence. I dunno, maybe I'm ignorant, but these two, especially Sarah, seem to be a distraction more than a development. I'm not meaning to sound catty but I'm just so used to Bree and I miss her in the plot.RoseCrowley wrote:I want more of Taylor and Sarah!! (I still miss Bree, but...yah...)
~Just KISS her already Jonas!~
Figured I'd just quote Lass, as that's essentially how I feel too. I don't want anything terrible to befall Bree, but I honestly can't say I miss her.Languorous Lass wrote:I don't necessarily miss Bree in and of herself. I'll be honest to say that I DO miss Bree.
But I won't deny that her disappearance was probably necessary.
Think this: if she wasn't gone, BDJ would still be running around North America.
But now that she's gone, sooner or later, B&J HAVE to do something.
I doubt that whatever'll happen will actually resolve ANYTHING (maybe a few answers), but it'll hopefully be something new/different.
Just hoping we haven't seen the last of Taylor and Sarah . . . I liked their addition to the cast.

Oh, and where the Hell is P. Monkey?
It's always hard to tell what kind of ramifications the "meta" of this thing (e.g. Miss Rose's outside filming schedules) has on the plot vs. just plain writing. I suspect the former is the reason why Jess has been MIA for so long this time.
The meta of the show has always been a huge factor that has continually created gaping plot problems, the examples way too numerous to line item.
As for Jess leaving the show, we all know that is inevitable, no matter if you happen to like the character or not. I personally think the show will seriously flounder without her wit and charm, the newbies are a good distraction but the "real deal" is still Bree.
I do think the last couple of vids have been a Breally good substitute during her absence, but they need to focus the story back on her. Stat.
As usual tying to predict much of anything with this project is pretty pointless though, it kinda defies any kind of logical analysis... And not in a "gotcha" kind of (logical!) great surprise plot twist way, just well.....
ETA: Just watched new vid, as a big DB fan I thought it was pretty good. Still no plot development or sign o' Bree though. One of the better filler vids they have done. I throw the "Delay of Game " flag. Bring HER on!

Filming may take a month or more, but, almost all American Films at least are filmed in CA. It is rare that a movie is filmed on location or just in a different location period.
So, it might be a while, either that, or the gap between vids with Bree in them will be a very long one, even when she escapes or is rescued or whatever and is back with DB and Jonas.

Are you referring to California or Canada? I assume you meant the former, but actually many American movies are filmed in Canada, because of lower production costs, financial incentives provided by the government, and many other factors.Spades wrote:Filming may take a month or more, but, almost all American Films at least are filmed in CA.
